Jabra Evolve2 65 over the ear headphones. I have worn these all day everyday for 8 years. They’re under $300, work great, and very comfortable. They have a great mic that you can raise to auto mute, too - very handy.
Jabra Evolve2 65 w/ both ears and the boom mic. I prefer the type of headsets which are "on ear" and without noise cancellation for home office use. There's nobody else around to listen in and I want to maintain awareness of what's going on in the home.
Jabra Evolve2 65. Flip up boom mic to mute. If it ever dies, I'll get a Jabra Evolve2 75 or 85. But I've had it since 2019 now, and only had to replace the cushions eventually.
**I** use them for music and I really enjoy them. After wearing the Jabra Evolve2 65 for 9 hours a day, the Logi feels like a breeze, with proper head support and comfortable over-ear cushions. The microphone isn’t great compared to the Jabra, but those are made for work.
Jabra Evolve2 65. Sound like a good set of headphones, and a mike that only seems to have issues in open plan offices. The 380 dongle dos well to prevent weird W10 and W11 sound issues
I really like shokz too, Don't feel like the microphone quite cuts it for things like zoom calls and phone calls. As others have mentioned, you can stick some ear plugs in to filter out background noise. I have done this with some success. I have some ear plugs that I use for concerts that I have used a few times. I did that recently for a flight I was on. I could hear the shocks fine without the ear plugs, but it was nice to tone down the din of the jet. For my job I have gotten two headsets. I have a Jabra evolve2 65, which I have had for a few years. The battery lasts a long time and the Bluetooth range is really good. I can mute myself on a zoom call and go take a piss and nobody's the wiser. I never miss a single detail. The sound quality is good and the microphone seems to work great. I also have a poly Voyager 4320, and it's a nice headset, but I've had trouble with the name changing when it's paired for some reason. This screws up zoom and my VoIP application because I have profiles set up where my headsets. Out of the blue it will decide to not be a poly Voyager and have some generic sound device name, and then the phone rings, and I don't know where the hell the audio is coming from. My jabra headset has never done that. When I'm not using my headset and I hang it on the crank of my standing desk. Or I just put it down around my neck. If you don't like having headphones on your ears, these headsets may not be the solution.
ehhhh, it does its job well enough and the mic blocks out ambient noice. But it feels too flimsy and the ear cups are too small. Infact it's not even really a cup just a flat surface. Then again I've been spoilt by using wallet breaking headphones at home so ymmv.
