I have a requirement to use a headset for Teams meetings while in the office. I use Oticon Intent 1 aids that are behind the ear. Most headset ear cups don't cover the hearing aids so I get a lot of office noise entering my hearing via the aids while in a call. Does anyone else have this issue and what are you using to overcome it? I'm assuming proper over ear headphones with call capabilities will be the solution.

I see. Do they cover the hearing aids? I have a set of Jabraevolve2 75 and while they're very good the cups aren't big enough to cover the hearing aids.

IMHO, Jabra is good choice in general, I had about 6 of them in 15 years, however, Jabra Evolve2 75, mic stopped working in 2 monts, returned and replaced, meanwhile I bougt Jabra Evolve2 85, excelent sound, yet, mic physically broke, and I dont ubderstand why they made it in way that you need to do 2 moves to unmute mic (or generaly hide/release mic physicaly), and it broke there, small detail which kind a ruin 300 dolars headset in several months. I taped it, prolong usage for almost 1 year...and now I am here googling best head set, as I dont trust Jabra anymore. https://preview.redd.it/irckbmmau19f1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=85a57ce8702ddd1f71a3ef3bb9f95ad691c4116b Jabra Evolve2 85

My Favourite, for in office or away has to be the Jabra Evolve 2 75. I can be putting away dishes, hoovering, walking through the city, or pacing the office, and the other person barely hears a whisper. The boom mic seems to have great outside vs inside noise cancellation. The ANC is also pretty good, enough to cut out a lot of train noise.

I have the Jabra Evolve 2 75 and at first it was trash, but a firmware update or two made it good. It is uncomfortable after a few hours on the ears but everything else works really good. I got the AirPods Pro 3 and my god they actually work good. The mics are a big upgrade.

Evolve 2 75 also gets my vote. I can't remember when I bought mine, but it's been long enough where I've replaced the earpads. I've tried many times to switch away to others - I keep coming back to it. If I need a rocksolid audio setup no matter where I'm taking the call, they're my tried and true. The USB dongle makes it super simple for me to decide where to take the call, since it works both with PC and Android. Noise cancellation during flights are good enough, and I've taken calls in busy cafes and my customer couldn't tell from what the boom mic picks up. Auto mute based on boom mic position is nice, and so is the busy light when I'm on a call. Accepts USB C to charge. It ain't sexy, but it damn works.

Jabra Evolve2 75 is worth it for 5+ hours daily. AirPods work but battery dies mid-afternoon and mic quality suffers in noisy environments. Invest in the tool you use most

For Call center work (or making calls over the course of the day and in use for any audio) I suggest Jabra Evolve2 series with ANC (75 & 85 I think) I don't have any recent experience with Plantrocis but they are also solid for the call environment. I had people working on the sideing of my house and no one could hear it, and only when my dog is in the room and barks can she be heard with my Jabra. I've had my most recent one for like 6 years (dog destroyed the first one and they gave me 75% off the replacement) and I can still get close to 14 hours with it on if needed. Plus it's comfy

Jabra hands down, I got them for the same reason when returning from leave. Any time my kids are screaming or crying, I ask my teammate if she can hear it and she doesn’t hear a thing. I have jabra 75.

check out the YouTube videos about the microphone failing. Some engineering idiot made the Jabra 75 microphone wire rub against internal components each time you lower and raise it. The mic wire will break after enough use. It’s designed obsolescence. definitely not getting another one.

I've been using my Sony XM3s for the past couple years and they've worked great in Zoom and in Google Meet. I also had a Jabra 75 but if I'm at home the XM3's are leagues better since I can listen to music as well.
