I have a requirement to use a headset for Teams meetings while in the office. I use Oticon Intent 1 aids that are behind the ear. Most headset ear cups don't cover the hearing aids so I get a lot of office noise entering my hearing via the aids while in a call. Does anyone else have this issue and what are you using to overcome it? I'm assuming proper over ear headphones with call capabilities will be the solution.

I see. Do they cover the hearing aids? I have a set of Jabraevolve2 75 and while they're very good the cups aren't big enough to cover the hearing aids.

IMHO, Jabra is good choice in general, I had about 6 of them in 15 years, however, Jabra Evolve2 75, mic stopped working in 2 monts, returned and replaced, meanwhile I bougt Jabra Evolve2 85, excelent sound, yet, mic physically broke, and I dont ubderstand why they made it in way that you need to do 2 moves to unmute mic (or generaly hide/release mic physicaly), and it broke there, small detail which kind a ruin 300 dolars headset in several months. I taped it, prolong usage for almost 1 year...and now I am here googling best head set, as I dont trust Jabra anymore. https://preview.redd.it/irckbmmau19f1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=85a57ce8702ddd1f71a3ef3bb9f95ad691c4116b Jabra Evolve2 85

check out the YouTube videos about the microphone failing. Some engineering idiot made the Jabra 75 microphone wire rub against internal components each time you lower and raise it. The mic wire will break after enough use. It’s designed obsolescence. definitely not getting another one.

Yeah, as someone who works with noise canceling headphones (Jabra Evolve 2) and uses personal headphones such as the Sony XM4… get Resound hearing aids or similar tech that addresses feedback. Resound specifically has a feature that will reduce feedback to almost nonexistent. I personally bought the Noahlink so I could fiddle with that feature until I got it how I liked it. I suggest considering this and doing some research. Phonaksdo have whistleblock for their feedback tech but it isn’t as good as Resounds DFS Ultra

Airpods are just flat out the way to go, but if you’re completely against it, the Jabra Evolves are good

The Evolve2 series are outstanding. Now if you want to cancel ALL outside noise, maybe David Clark HBT40? I had a pair for datacenter work, paired to a cell phone. Couldn't hear anything from the equipment in the cage, just the phone conversation.

For Call center work (or making calls over the course of the day and in use for any audio) I suggest Jabra Evolve2 series with ANC (75 & 85 I think) I don't have any recent experience with Plantrocis but they are also solid for the call environment. I had people working on the sideing of my house and no one could hear it, and only when my dog is in the room and barks can she be heard with my Jabra. I've had my most recent one for like 6 years (dog destroyed the first one and they gave me 75% off the replacement) and I can still get close to 14 hours with it on if needed. Plus it's comfy
