Jabra has a great set, but they are pricey. Jabra Evolve2 85. They are noise canceling headphones with pretty good sound. I don't notice much difference between them and my Bose Quiet Comforts. But, the big difference is they have a microphone arm that comes down. I was so happy to find an almost new pair on FB marketplace for $200 shipped. Highly recommend. I will say though, I have an older non noise canceling ones (Jabra Evolve 65) and the microphone is better on those. But the Evolve2 85s are still decent. Not as good as a dedicated microphone though. In a previous job I used a Blue Yeti on a boom arm. Seriously, check out the Jabra Evolve2 85s.

I love my Jabra Evolve2 85. Yes it is expensive, but I wear it every day, even gaming on weekends, and it is great. I am really hoping for a refresh soon as it only supports Bluetooth 5.0 and I really like some of the newer Bluetooth features.

IMHO, Jabra is good choice in general, I had about 6 of them in 15 years, however, Jabra Evolve2 75, mic stopped working in 2 monts, returned and replaced, meanwhile I bougt Jabra Evolve2 85, excelent sound, yet, mic physically broke, and I dont ubderstand why they made it in way that you need to do 2 moves to unmute mic (or generaly hide/release mic physicaly), and it broke there, small detail which kind a ruin 300 dolars headset in several months. I taped it, prolong usage for almost 1 year...and now I am here googling best head set, as I dont trust Jabra anymore. https://preview.redd.it/irckbmmau19f1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=85a57ce8702ddd1f71a3ef3bb9f95ad691c4116b Jabra Evolve2 85

Youd do all your customers a favour and get a proper enterprise headset and not a consumer one. There is plenty that is designed as a consumer headset but with enteprise grade microphone and certifications. Look at Jabra evolve2 85 as example, that has the same form factor as the one you linked but with a microphone that has passed Microsofts VERY demanding tests.

u/Fearless_Baseball121 is spot on. While some people get by with consumer headphones for light home use or occasional calls, from our testing and customer feedback they’re not ideal for your use case. Consumer headphones often fall short for professional use, with drawbacks like subpar microphone quality/mic noise cancellation, lack of call control buttons like mute/unmute/answer/end, spotty computer connectivity, limited wireless range, and no sidetone. For the best performance, a professional headset is the way to go. Surprisingly, there aren’t many top tier over-ear enterprise headphones out there. The Jabra Evolve2 85 is a solid option, though it’s not perfect. If you’re open to on-ear headsets, the Yealink HA64 Pro and EPOS Impact 1000 are a couple most popular choices for office use today.

Not the Evolve2 85 series - IMO the microphone isn’t up to scratch, sound is fantastic otherwise. I think all the other Evolve2 models have a single piece boom arm that’s likely to be more reliable.

r/MicrosoftTeams • Recommendation for headset to use best during Teams meetings and can be used for music (mainly Spotify). Company is reimbursing. ->

If you don’t have USB-C plug, simply buy a USB-A to USB-C adapter on your local store or in AliExpress for a dollar. To have active noise canceling in your headset speakers (ANC) or in your microphone (voice), you’ll need power: whether headset has a battery or connected by USB. Any other alternative without power is just a cardioid microphone, which you’ll need to mute and unmute, while still getting uneven noise in when talking. If you are looking for cheaper Jabra, consider the possibility of a new but returned unit (like Amazon Warehouse). In my experience Jabra have the best in-call noise canceling (note the ‘in-call’). Stability of wireless works very well for me with Evolve2 85 around ears, for example, as they guarantee to survive simultaneously with tons of other headsets. Take a look at the lower end Avantal/Avantree Aria Pro 3. These have same features as the Jabra, although the noise canceling is not same but it’s quite good in my experience. Mute/unmute is manual in this case (not Teams certified). I recommend not getting earbuds for your noisy scenario. Mathematically they will always pick up all noise which is in front and back of you in a straight line when you talk (as your mouth is in the center!).

Jabra Evolve 85 or 75, but they are a few times more than your budget. Logitech Zone should fall in your budget and gives good noise cancellation in open plans. Get the Teams version.
