New Jabra Evolve3 series we tested is the best we've tested in the Jabra lineup. You could also consider Jabra Evolve2 55 and Evolve2 65 Flex but blocking out other peoples voices is one of the biggest challenges for any noise canceling mic so don't expect 100% of all noises to be blocked out.

I can confirm this, just set sidetone to +3 or +6 using Jabra Direct. As for the ANC. It will still be present when you mute. I actually find it very useful because this way you can “feel” if you are muted or not. However, I can see where OP disappointment comes from, as I also needed to adjust settings of this headset. Coming from Jabra Evolve 75 to Evolve2 85 was pretty disappointing. Waiting for Evolve3.

I have a Jabra evolve 75 from circa 2020 that is still going strong. The newer gen ones seem good too.

I had an evolve 75 but the mic finally went in it so I switched to the plantronics VFocus2. I like them better than the Jabras .

I have a Jabra Evolve 75 with a charging dock for exactly this purpose (I have others for high quality music listening) and it does exactly what she needs, and it does it fantastically. It should fit in your budget. It is really a purpose built work tool.

If hifi sound quality for misic listening is not a priority, I have a Jabra Evolve 75 for a few years now for work, I'm on the second pair of earpads, and they are absolute workhorses. Excellent mic, excellent range, battery life and reliability. Handles two devices even on BT without the dongle. I highly recommend it, and get the charging dock too!

Unfortunately, no. I have the Evolve 75 model, not even the Evolve2, got it 4 years ago for work, and still going strong. From Jabra I'd expect the newer models to be at least as good. We have a similar Lenovo in my household, and I can see why the Jabras cost that much more, and are the industry standard around here. Just sheer reliability.
