Check out Blue Parrot which is owned by Jabra. They're designed specifically for high noise environments like truck drivers, warehouses, etc. I own S450-XT over the ear headset and M300-XT SE earpiece and can't say enough great things about them. Price is comparable to a lot of other brands and ranges from just over $100 to $250. Both the build quality and background noise cancellation is phenomenal. I had music playing within 18 in the microphone and the person on the other end couldn't tell. I used them primarily in data centers around equipment with very noisy fans and on the rare occasion someone did complain about not being able to hear me it was because of air being blown directly onto the microphone. Also the battery management is exceptional. I've left them on accidentally and come back a couple days later with over 50%. I don't know exactly but they can be fully charged within 30 minutes. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

Pepperidge farms remembers when the Bluetooth used to connect a lot further on the 450’s.

I beat the hell out of mine, it gets tossed up on the dash, falls on the floor, and it's still going strong. Only had to replace one of em years ago.

The 450 is the best in my opinion. I bought a 550 or 650 at Love's and returned it.

Immediately go to a large truck stop and buy a Blue Parrot headset. Anything from the XT-450 to the fancy 650 with the removable second ear cup.  They are explicitly designed for drivers and people working in high noisy environments, it is *astonishing* in how well they work. I have been walking on the airport apron less than 30 feet away from a big twin turbo prop airplane with engines running, and nobody on the other side of the call can hear a thing. Noisy coffee shops? It makes it sound like you’re in a recording studio. Engine and wind and driving noise? Not even remotely perceptible.  They are *amazing* and the single best investment I’ve ever made in terms of being able to take meetings anywhere.

I had a Blue parrot 450 and it was great for 4 years. I recently got the Shokz Open Run Pro 2. They also make one with a boom mic if you want. These have been great bc you can hear your audio and whats going on around you. It's not as bad as it sounds. They get loud enough to drown out any outside noises if you want it that loud. Mine last 12 hours which is great and charge time is 30-40 mins.

Truckers wear headsets with a boom mic because after many phone conversations and judging how people sound on a call, a boom mic right in front of your mouth has the best chance of picking up your voice and filtering out background noise. Airpods suck at noise cancellation. My Blue Parrot bt450-xt is at least 8 years old and is the best I've had. I forgot to pack it once and broke down and paid too much for a 550 at Loves. People are always amazed I'm going 70 with the window down and it sounds to them like I'm on a landline, with either of them. The 550 speaker doesn't sound as good as the 450 streaming music etc, but both are loud and clear enough for voice calls. Wish I could buy a 450 with usb-c. Would be perfect.

How well does it do with noise cancelation? On my blueparrot 450, I can have my microphone inches away from the belts while the engine is running and hear/be heard crystal clear.
