Immediately go to a large truck stop and buy a Blue Parrot headset. Anything from the XT-450 to the fancy 650 with the removable second ear cup. They are explicitly designed for drivers and people working in high noisy environments, it is *astonishing* in how well they work. I have been walking on the airport apron less than 30 feet away from a big twin turbo prop airplane with engines running, and nobody on the other side of the call can hear a thing. Noisy coffee shops? It makes it sound like you’re in a recording studio. Engine and wind and driving noise? Not even remotely perceptible. They are *amazing* and the single best investment I’ve ever made in terms of being able to take meetings anywhere.
Ditto on the Blue Parrot. Get something with a microphone that sits directly in front of your mouth. Putting the microphone in the earpiece just doesn’t work for high noise environments.
\+1 for Blue Parrot, we use them in the datacenter when techs need to be on a conference bridge or teams call but also not shouting "WHAT?" over loud fans during critical issues. Super impressed with them for years now.
