For mics, there's a lot of midrange condenser mics found online, like Fifine, Maono, even Razer's Seiren Mini are decent all below 1.5k. I use a YETE USB Condenser Mic worth 800 bought on Shapi almost 4 years ago and still good. For headphones, I think the decent ones that are bang for the buck are also worth 1.5k and above. I had a JBL Quantum 100, but you can check out Attack Shark, Redragon, Fantech, or Aula. Personally, I'd prefer TWS and IEMs for portability and since headsets are uncomfortable for me because of my big head. Right now I use a KZ Castor worth 750, and a Soundcore r50i NC worth 1k.

I use the JBL Quantum 100M2 and never had any discomfort for longer gaming sessions be that on PC or console.

I have been using a JBL headset for at least 5 years, with good audio both directions. Good enough earphones for casual music listening (although I normally use Sennheisers without a mic). Quite comfortable big padded muffs. TRRS plugs directly into my phone or newer PC. I believe the model number now is Quantum 100M2, although it was different when I bought them. Price is unbelievably low, they seem to be on sale now for less than I originally paid.
