The noisefloor in our shop is 80db. It should be mandatory to wear something. When the guys on the milling machine do some agressive shit or air pistol or heavy drilling in the lathe, it goes up to 90-92db That's bad a.f. I tried the small ones, the in ear type, but they are not always confortable. They always fit me perfectly when i had wired ones. the bluetooths not so much. +the little buds have a short battery life. The headphones are typically 20+ hours, many passing over 30hours on one charge. The headphones tend to isolate better. even just by being on your head. I got a JBL tour one m2 , because i just can't bear shit audio quality. I'd rather not listen... Also because this is a good middleground, around 200€, i won't have a heart attack if i break them, compared to the top if the line Sony and BOSE (and a few others)
As a petite woman I understand her frustration well! I have JBL Tour One M2. I’ve had them for quite a few years and I love them. The noise cancelling is great, so is the ambient aware function. When I’m outside the house I always use the ambient aware, that’s my preference though. They are the only pair of Bluetooth headphones I’ve ever owned and I have no regrets. They came with a case and charging cable and JBL has an app to control and personalize the sound (compensates for pitch/volume if you have differences between ears) and some other functions I haven’t used on the app. Mic is good - I use it during calls/facetime occasionally.
I'm quite happy with my JBL Tour One, they are expensive though.
