i looked at the airwave max 6- they cost 6k i can extend my budget to 6k too but they feel verry bulky. im confused because almost all over ear are bulky and i need my headphones while travelling + everyday long hours. So it's really comfort with bulkyness or better look/size but no long hour comfort. My cart was like- skullcandy hesh evo, sony ch520 , jbl770nc, and soundcore q20i or space one. but everytime i go research on them, nothing feels good under 5k. either its too bulky , too outdated , poor built quality , bad comfort or bad sound. i had rockerz previously by boat but they sucked for long hours and even for sound, they would heat my ears up like crazy and the cushion wasn't even that good.
At home on my laptop it's DT 770 Pro, 900 Pro X and Grado SR80x through the Zen DAC V3. Out and about it's Sony ULT Wear or JBL 770NC. I like all of my headphones for different use cases.
I love my JBL 770NC set. Great for smaller heads. Good padding that cushions/floats the headband and ear cups, doesn’t compress to create pressure points. Good battery life, durable so far in a year of daily packing and wearing.
JBL 770NC here. Recommend.
Lower end of budget but I really like my JBL 770NCs. I have a smaller head and these are one of the only ones I’ve found that feel ok over my ears and overhead. The padding is soft and they don’t put too much pressure on any spot. Sound quality is good. Noise cancelling is a comfortable level cutting out lots of background environmental noise but not so much that I feel entirely cut out of the environment and disoriented. They’ve held up to daily use and packing/unpacking into my backpack. Great battery life.
I love my JBL 770NCs. Have held up well over a year of daily use and packing/unpacking in a backpack. Maybe not quite the noise canceling level of Bose, but also not the same price tag.
Jbl tune 770nc only if you have smol ears
It's a headphone and they sound amazing I have had thr ch720n and q20i and to me the tune 770nc sound the best
Oh sorry I misread the question I thought he was asking for bluetooth headphones, for wired id go for fiio jt7 but the 770nc are great sounding even compared to wired headphones in the price range look at the review of jbl 710bt which are same as 770nc but without any by DMS
Bro I have JBL tune 770nc and one of my frnds has the song ones. I have used both and the build quality, ANC and audio quality are all better on the JBL ones and those are cheaper too. You won't get good quality in sony unless you go over 12-15k
Also I am a video editor so yeah they are good for that
Idk what's the price now but sony 720n , I bought it for 5.6k in bbd sale , and jbl 770 (I think this was the model ) is pretty good too , both are good but sony one is just much much better for comfort and long time wearing usage Edit - my friend has soundcore ones which costs around 3 to 4 k I think and they are good but pain in the ear lobes or head too as they were not at all comfortable for me , I wasn't able to wear them for more then 20 minutes , had to take breaks (my experience when I borrowed his headphones for some time )
