I had these for years actually until the foam pieces fell apart (maybe 4 years in?). I originally got them in 2018. Keep in mind I got them before Airpod Pros and their transparency modes, but I just needed something simple to listen to music at work, but also relatively open ear enough that I could still hear what was going on around me. Is the sound quality great? No. But I'm not one of those audiophiles who's enjoying their equipment more than the music, I can listen to music on just about anything but I do prefer a decent of cans. These were good enough for what I needed, listening to music at my desk at work.

They’re fine for just music if you dont take it seriously. I have a pair (if I can find em) where one of the friction sliders broke, and so that side driver falls off the band all the time. Its a neat novelty that is actually functional, and okay for its purpose.

I see the Jlab rewind 2 is pretty bad, but can become decent after modifying the equalizer settings. Here is my question: The equalizer is an app. I plan to pair this with my PC. If I pair it with my phone to change the equalizer settings via app does that follow the headphones to my PC where there is no equalizer app to adjust it?

I love these! They are cheap, can eq, sound is not offensive, light, durable and if I lose or break them I don't care.

You need Jlab Rewinds. Often on sale for $20. They're not audiophile but pleasant. Better than old walkman headphones and the Bluetooth range is killer. https://preview.redd.it/wphvrysvmlbg1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=348d99aca2d42d991b64d6caf37a0281a2d5a324

r/audiobooksA little warning when using "earbuds" while listening to Audiobooks.

I've got it too and I used ear buds for both music and audiobooks (but not as long as you, maybe one to two years). I blamed the ear buds. I tried the supplement that claims to help. They tell you to take like 7 at a time. When I took that much I got some relief. I lowered the dose and continued taking them for a long time, maybe a year and a half. To some degree I adjusted to annoying sound. This summer I ventured to get another Bluetooth headphone. Mind you I still have tinnitus. FWIW I don't think these make it any worse. r/audiobooksLooking for headphones compatible with hearing aids – any suggestions?

I thought hearing aids themselves were capable of Bluetooth and could serve to privately amplify sound, at least when paired with a smartphone. True at least for the ones worn by folks I know. That said, I can suggest some Bluetooth headphones that might be comfortable with hearing aids that also have a built in mic for phone calls. JLab Rewind 2 Wireless Retro Headphones. They remind me of the headphones for the original Sony Walkman but with modern features. Inexpensive and very comfortable. I don’t wear hearing aids, but I do use them for audiobooks. They also provide an app with a few equalizer profiles - including one for voice.

Only you will be able to judge what is comfortable for you. I was unhappy with expensive ear buds. I felt like I was underwater with ear plugs and the sensation persisted when I took them out. So I tried a variety of headphones. I wear glasses so it’s not like nothing is behind my ears. The JLab ones were the only ones that didn’t press on my ears. Maybe I wear them in a more forward position to avoid any possibility but there’s little to no pressure. While they’re very light and comfortable for me, your experience may differ. Good luck.

Firstly shout out to the person who figured out the correct presets and suggested switching to yaxi pads, ily and your correct opinions.  I read all the reviews saying these are actually trash and suggesting ye old Koss Porta Pro instead, but I've had x2 sets of Porta Pros and they've both fallen apart in under a month after costing me $80+ NZD each AND being unable to get them replaced due to being in NZ and buying online.  So I picked up the Rewinds for $20 NZD + shipping on Amazon AUS which if you've ever tried to buy anything outside north America you know is a goddamn miracle.  And yes, all the reviews are correct, these are in fact, Hot Garbage\[tm\]. HOWEVER I still love them and recommend them to anyone like me.  * Yes the presets sound like a fart in a tin can * Yes the app doesn't even work half the time to FIX the presets * Yes you need to buy both replacement pads AND something to mount the replacement pads if you want more than a fine layer of orange seafoam caressing your ears  And yet!  These are actually perfect for me because, out of the box, they are essentially functional props. I'm a content creator & streamer and really needed some basic, reasonably comfortable Bluetooth headphones that lets me listen to my goddamn audiobooks while I work, keeps my hair out of my face, and actually add something to my whole look. Sometimes you need real quality sound engineering, sometimes you need a glorified headband.  So as headphones? Solid 2/5 and only that much cause they're cheap.  As accessories? 5/5 gold star ⭐️ Perfect. Wonderful. Will probably buy another set when I inevitably sit on them in a few weeks.  Seriously tho why put so much effort into visual design and then keep the audio like temu earbuds
