You might be tempted by the AMVR ones with the custom length cables. Don't. They sound really muffled. You can just about get used to it, but they sound worse than the built-in speakers. If you want in-ears, this might be a job for IEMs. Not necessarily for their sound quality (you can go down this rabbit hole if you want, but you can get cheap stuff these days that sounds great), but because they usually have replaceable cables, and you can get after-market ones that are an ideal length. I haven't gone far enough down the rabbit hole to have a cupboard full of IEMs, so can't recommend "the best", but I picked up some ND Planet IEMs on sale that work well enough. You might also want to think about over-ears. They're a bit less convenient, but if you pick a model that has enough clearance to go over your strap, a 3.5mm in (many Bluetooth headphones do, but you also get some wired-only ones with interchangeable cables, like the Koss GMR-545-A AIR), you can get a short 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable and avoid getting tangled up, and they can be very comfy. With wired stuff generally, you've got less need to try and stick with gaming gear, because you don't have the problem with latency that Bluetooth does, so if you're happy enough just using velcro cable tidies to keep the cables in check, pretty much anything will work.
