Koss - Sporta Pro

I'm looking for a closed over-ear headphone that sounds better than the S4R. Would I like the HDB 630? My headphones ranking goes something like: Stax 009 ER4S Stax SRS-2170 Koss ESP-950 HD580 Koss ESP-9 Ollo S4R 1.1 DT1350 DT990 Pro Sony MDR-EX15 (hard to rank these, actually) K701 HD25 KRK 6400 Ixos MOS DJ1001 Koss Sporta Pros and KSC equivalents Sony V6 & 7506 Harman Kardon ANC Fly (muddy mess)

Any closed over-ear headphone that sounds substantially more accurate than the S4R without going to exotic ultra-expensive vintage Stax? Maybe too much to ask for compared to those I put above it. The ESP-9 is awesome but HEAVY. DT1350 is on ear. Heck, the Koss practically is too with the shallow Koss pads. ER4S tier is too high a bar obviously for over ear closed. Koss Porta Pro Akg 371 Fiio FT1 and FT1 pro

I bought my hd599 SE from their official India store. There were some discounts running, and I got it for 6.8k. It’s got a warranty of 2 years and the pads are extremely comfortable, and it’s open back. The only problem is if you listen at high volume there is sound leakage. For sub 5k, you can go for Koss Portapro or KSC75. They are also very comfortable and have extremely good sound. But the wire build quality is a bit flimsy. There are also ChiFi headphones like Fiio JT1/JT3. But haven’t used them. Reviews for them are quite good though.

Monolith AMT, almost any of the Grado line, Koss esp950, Koss Portapro, stax lambda line, kz sonata, technics az100, vintage the pioneer se405 does really well but has a warmer sound.
