A40 + MixAmp Pro Gen 1

I have an a40 Gen 1 that works perfectly, I had an a40 Tr that was stolen. I had an a50 Gen 2 that I sold and bought the a50x a year ago and it never had any problems with it.

I have the og a40 from ps3 days, a pair of a50 ps4, and a50 ps5. They all still work fine. Only issue is every had was the a50 would lose connection to the dock after a couple months. Just put them back on the dock and restart the sysyem. I swear, people must be throwing their stuff into walls and expecting them to still work... I don't how my friends and I can use these for a decade with no issue but reddit says they are trash?

Astro a40 with mixamp, I have not tried the a50s yet. Best headset I have found.

Astros mix amp A40's are really good and buy the dolby atmos pass. They're not to expensive too.

Astro a40s with mixamp are very good. I had a pair that broke, so I tried an expensive Audeze headset that seemed good but it wasnt the same. About a year of use I swapped back to A40s, they were so much better imo.

I got the wired Astro A40 pro with mix amp almost 8 years ago. I’ve replaced pads once. They’ve been great throughout multiple consoles, and now finally on PC. Highly recommend.

The astro a40 with the mixamp proved me wrong. I will probably never buy something else.

There is nothing to compare it to imo, it just hits different and they clarity is out of this world. I really dont know what they use, I just play games man :p

I don't know much about the A50 but i do know my A40 really got to life when i used it with dolby atmos. Night and day difference!
