I saw things like logitech g pro x being better than alpha and cloud 2 and both are same generation also they say g pro x is closer to studio headphones what do you think about this?
I ended up purchasing logitech g pro x since its closes to studio level headphone and its insane i tried every single one on the list and most professional and advanced feeling + quality was on logitech g pro x and hyperx clould alpha but i prefer logitech because of blue voice and hyperx being bought by HP is bad thats why out of them all best is logitech g pro x
I had it for about 5 years now. On 2.5 years mark the headphone went deaf on one side. Spent 1 hour to go to the service center and they replaced it with a new one. Also thw fake leather ear muff always flake off on about 1 year mark. Audio is fine for a gaming headset. My fav part is the mic. Recently upgraded to a hifi headphone and a separated mic, much better but i did spend about twice as much in total
I'm currently rocking a Logitech G Pro X. Wireless. Detachable mic and a dedicated hardware mute-mic button. Voice quality is good. Earpads are replaceable. And all-black with metal accents on the earcups, so fairly neutral in appearance.
Just got Astro A50 gen 5 today, upgraded from pro x 1’s, and the sound quality is so clean and rich. I prefer the fit of pro x, but sound is way better on a50s. Can’t go wrong with pro x v2, if you wanna spend less money

I've been through a lot of headphones, I would never buy Razor anything. Logitech G PRO X with Metal seems pretty tough and decent price, as for the sound quality.. I dunno, my ears are stuffed anyway, i just want something that lasts and is not made out of plastic. Also replaceable plugs on everything.
Logitech g pro X. Amazing headsets. I have word so make sure u take of the wiring and it’ll last so long
I use a separate mic & headphones, but I have the HyperX Quadcast 2 as my mic and KZ ZSN Pro X as my in-ears. I've used the Logitech G Pro X for a while before swapping to this system, however the headphones got heavy on my head after very long gaming sessions, but they were comfy! I go back to them if I need wireless :). I also have a pair of Astro A10s I use for my PS5. They are super lightweight and the audio is good, and the mic isn't terrible.
Logitech g Pro all the wayyyy
Those are wired headphones so they will work with the solo, the problem is they they’ll be tuned for gaming. They’ll be configured in a way to make the game sound huge and cinematic, upping the bass and trebles, pulling down the mids ect ect. What will happen when you record is that you’ll get a coloured sound so you’ll be messing with EQ to get a good sound in the headphone. Second you put it on speakers, in the car, monitors then it will no longer sound the same because you’ve EQ’d specifically to the Logitech. You need a headset with the flattest response possible , that will give you the truest sound that you can work with in the DAW. Audio-Technica, Sony, Beyerdynamic and AKG all make great closed back headphones for recording that run the whole spectrum of a budget. They will all do the job you need them for , I’ve used Audio-Technica for years , cost less than 100 bucks easily and I’ve never had a fault yet.
For me, the quality of the headphones barely matters because I switch that often that it doesn’t really have a chance to break. Although I do buy fairly expensive headphones (Currently Logitech G Pro X, Audeze Maxwell, AirPods Max (and Pro 2, but not a regular headphone)). I just have strong habit to switch out when I see something new, interesting.
