I’ve tried a lot of headsets and the wireless Xbox ones have been my favorite. I have the starfield edition and they’re still holding up strong. When they finally give out I’ll be getting another pair for sure.
When I use a headset it's the next-gen Xbox Wireless with the built-in Dolby ATMOS. The headset is light and extremely comfortable to have long gaming sessions with.
Whatever comes next lol. I have the same Xbox headset and it is great for what I need it for. Good sound, good battery life and easy to pair with phone as stated in original response.
Two pairs of these: dog broke the mic on the first set and nephews broke the mic on the second set. Glued and still going.
People are saying the Series X headset, and it is honestly the most reliable headset I've owned, but I still want to say the downsides I've experienced with it. I do not find the audio control dials to be sufficient enough to find the level of volume I want between game and party chat, without having to lower in-game volume for better party chat voice clarity. The synthetic leather will deteriorate at a moderate rate, and the ear pads are easily replacable, but once the headband portion deteriorates, that portion isn't fixable.
I can't believe I had to scroll this far to find a story like mine. The Xbox set sounds good, works great, and fits great. But God damn they literally began to disintegrate at the 2 year mark. Everything failed on it by year 3 (first the coating came off the ears pads, then the entire pads ripped off, then the mic disintegrated, then the plastic started cracking) . So yeah, if you're fine with 2 years use, get them. But they are not going to last you years (with regular use).
