Whichever is comfortable and non-fatiguing. For example: SJY Moonlight, HD600, Aeolus (suede pads), LCD-2, LCD-X, HD550, COSMO (Dekoni Elite Velour HE pads), Ananda, HD660S2, NDH30...
Cant get the grasp.how people can mix on VSX, it sounds horrible to me, I sold mine and use now NDH30 and a Tipping DX5 II head amp.
Beyerdynamics are literally the worst headphones for mixing due to the frequency cut they have... If you use headphone the have to be honest... Austrian audio have some good ones, Steven slate VSX are really good, Neumann NDH 30s are great. The most important thing is make sure they are open back. Otherwise you get a buildup of harmonics
The absolute best headphones for the price, in my experience
I have ndh 30s. For mixing they are fantastic. Totally not flattering, but if you get your mix sounding good on them, it will sound good everywhere. I've been doing this for 25+ years and for your budget, they are the best option imho
Audeze LCD-X with Realphones EQ. Neumann NDH-30 with RIME.
