For me, 5k is too much for a gaming headset. The audio/voice quality barely changes above 2k. You're better off getting a dedicated mic and headphone for that price. I have a Razer Barracuda X for over 2 years, it has plenty of accessories, can be wired/wireless. No RGB so I can use it outside if I have to. Only repair I had to do was replace the mic since it broke but there are plenty of those on-line.

I use the Razer Barracuda X. I've been pretty happy with it, other than the dongle stopped working so I had to switch to Bluetooth, but I've enjoyed mine. Also doesn't have cables so you cat can't chew through them

Been using Razer Barracuda X for a few years now, great sound, great mic, BT and WiFi with the dongle. Mic can be removed. On sale for 95 right now.

Razer Barracuda X, although most of the time when just randomly solo'ing I don't bother with the headset and just use the DualSense built-in mic.

I have this as well. I work from home and use it for work so I actually got to expense it lol. I would almost feel bad but I do actually use them basically all day for work, especially if my boss is reading this

Personally i recommend 7.1 surround headsets. But not virtual ones. For example i used razer chroma 7.1 for years. I can recommend that one but razer usually has hardware issues

I’m usually not a gamer-brand person, but I’ve gotta give credit where it’s due. I’ve been using the Razer Barracuda and it’s been surprisingly great. The main reason I went with it was the ability to connect to wireless (dongle) and Bluetooth at the same time. I’ve got it hooked up to my phone via Bluetooth and to my computer for Teams calls. I’m on the phone probably 5 hours a day right now (unfortunately), and this setup just works. They’re super comfortable, the design is clean, and they’ve held up really well over almost two years of constant use. Also, the wireless range is kind of ridiculous. I can walk from my office to the kitchen (50–60 feet), grab lunch, and walk back while still fully connected to my Teams meetingno drops, no drama. Not something I expected to say, but yeah… solid headset.

I love my Razer Barracuda. Can be used on Bluetooth or with a dangle plug in. Comfortable to wear all day, good sounds, good battery life. Also way under 200$.
