I have razer kraken kitty ones and I have honestly had a lot of problems with them. Mine are the wireless ones so I’m not sure if that plays a part or not. It has connectivity issues quite often and the cushion on the band comes off super easy. I am thinking about getting a regular headset and the ear attachments for my next pair.

I have the wired razer kraken kitty and LOVE them. Maybe it’s the wireless? I have zero issues with mine.

I have the Razer Kraken Kitty (wired) and while I didn’t have any particular problems with the sound or the microphone, the faux leather is very low quality. It started peeling off after six months of use (more or less). The headset is not cheap, so Razer should’ve done better. I guess I am deinfluencing you with this comment, but it’s better to know what to expect 😅

Not to dismiss the fact others very definitely have problems, but I had the OG Krakens with the kitty ear attachments for \~5 or so years. They were wonderful. 10/10 experience. They still work, but the mic wasn't fabulous and the paint had chipped. I bought the 'new' Kitty Krakens and they were horrific. Very small, made of plastic, very bad sound quality, ear cups were rock solid and gave me a headache. When I went to return them (Amazon), I spotted a sealed pair of the original RGB Kitty Krakens available. Hard to find, but they were my dream and I was happy to gamble. I am smitten. Even better sound quality than the OG Krakens, very lightweight, sized correctly and very adjustable. I have no problems with this headset \~4 months in. With these in particular (the wired version) I saw a lot of complaints about audio cutting out - I'm 95% sure in at least a good chunk of these cases, it's because the headset isn't getting enough power. I experienced the same problem with my headset plugged into a USB extender with other USBs in. Swapping it over to a main port fixed the issue. Just my experience with the original range of Razer headsets - avoid the new ones at all costs!!

I've had 2 gaming headsets, first it was a Steelseries Siberia, then a Razer Kraken, but then I got to know someone at work who is into sound. He convinced me to buy a HD 650 and by god it was a different tier. It was so comfortable, but 5-6 years ago I've changed it to a HD 800, purely because the same friend sold it to me £500, pretty much half price and he took good care of them too.

Razor Kraken is good Edit: whatever you can't win on Reddit I give up. Every post I try to post I'm not allowed to talk in the comments because of bad karma and the ones that I am allowed to talk in everybody always gives me negative reviews no matter what I say. I'm sorry I can't afford beats by Dre but if you're looking in the $50 tier The kraken is a good headset I've owned one now for over 2 years and it's just fine for playing call of duty it has good base and good quality microphone but yeah if you're going to compare it to some $400 headset probably not
