I wear glasses and settled on the Corsair HS80 and HS80 MAX after experiencing absolute ear pain with my Razr Kraken. I've found the HS80 series to be quite comfortable while gaming for a few hours...

Even my Kraken V2s are holding up. Foam is falling apart which is to be expected after 10+ years of gaming, but there’s no structural damage

Razer kraken pro here, i think it's wonderful, it also has live monitoring without any delay so I can hear myself a little bit, so I know when I'm breathing directly into the mic for example.

I have razer kraken wired version bc tbh I can't hear the difference between something like that and the audiophile headphones. I turned off the bass boost and it sounds great to me for what I need it for - game audio and being in voice with my friends - and I like a built in mic instead of a desktop stand mic. Background isolation seems good as it doesn't transmit my bf talking in the same room. Comfy enough to wear for 8 hours at a time also, but I dont wear glasses so if you do can't vouch for that.

I had a pair of Razer Krakens (wired) back in 2015 and they were absolutely spectacular for non gaming use. I've used a lot of flagship headphones and I still look back really fondly on the pair.

For wireless: [https://www.tomshardware.com/best-picks/best-wireless-headsets](https://www.tomshardware.com/best-picks/best-wireless-headsets) Audeze Maxwell for best audio quality. I just go the Razer v2 pro from this list, they're pretty good. I should have gotten open-back ones just coz it's weird when I talk due to headphones blocking some of that, but if you're not in a room alone and can't do open-back, the ones I got seem nice.

I've had 2 gaming headsets, first it was a Steelseries Siberia, then a Razer Kraken, but then I got to know someone at work who is into sound. He convinced me to buy a HD 650 and by god it was a different tier. It was so comfortable, but 5-6 years ago I've changed it to a HD 800, purely because the same friend sold it to me £500, pretty much half price and he took good care of them too.
