Kraken V4

If you like the skullcrusher the kraken v3 pro has more responsive haptics from 20hz to 200hz and are tuned better and also 2.4ghz so lower latency than Bluetooth also with a option to go wired aswell Probably will get downvoted to hell for suggesting razer but it's a v shaped sound profile with haptics by lofelt But for iems the cvj konoka, assassin and I think they do one more with haptic drivers I own both the kraken and konoka and while I like the convenience of the konoka being a iem the haptics only kick in around the 200hz ish mark so it doesn't measure up to the experience of the over ears although I was never expecting them too obviously due to their relative haptic motor sizes and my days people talk about razer being bass bloated the 125hz on the kraken v3 pro is 6db more than "neutral out of the box but the konoka is 8-9 these sound god awful without a eq whereas the kraken just sounds kinda enclosed due to the bass boost out of the box but not bassy as to ruin the overall neutrality like the konoka even with the ba turned on its not enough to overcome the overwhelming bass it's like standing outside a nightclub listening through the door where as the kraken at least sounds like your inside the club but once you get a nice eq on the krakens (it doesn't take much) oh my lord! plus the steel headband and leatherette covering is super comfy and strong only downside really is the plastic hinges they're a bit fragile so just don't do no pressing on them or they'll split but replacements are easy to get via AliExpress Doesn't have Bluetooth or anc but the passive noise cancelling is good and while the v4 has Bluetooth and haptics they're a downgrade in every possible way and cost 400

My Razer Kraken V4 snapped when, I kid you not, I took them off and set them down on my desk to answer the door. I'm glad to see the back of them, to be honest. Decent audio quality for a gaming headset, but they disconnected and failed to pair again CONSTANTLY, so I'm sort of glad they're a gonner. I'm slowly going to start phasing Razer products out of my setup.

I wear glasses and settled on the Corsair HS80 and HS80 MAX after experiencing absolute ear pain with my Razr Kraken. I've found the HS80 series to be quite comfortable while gaming for a few hours...

I've had 2 gaming headsets, first it was a Steelseries Siberia, then a Razer Kraken, but then I got to know someone at work who is into sound. He convinced me to buy a HD 650 and by god it was a different tier. It was so comfortable, but 5-6 years ago I've changed it to a HD 800, purely because the same friend sold it to me £500, pretty much half price and he took good care of them too.

I’m paying for quality and peace of mind. I’ve narrowed it down to four contenders, but I have specific fears about each. I need your help to decide: **1. Logitech G Pro X 2 Lightspeed** * **The Fear:** I’ve heard the mic is mediocre and the "clamping force" can be a bit much for 6+ hour sessions. * **The Pull:** Graphene drivers (less distortion over time) and that all-metal fork construction. It feels like a tank. **2. Razer Blackshark V3 Pro** * **The Fear:** The build quality and materials. Since it is almost entirely made of plastic, I have a strong feeling it might be more "breakable" than the others. I’m also worried about those thin metal adjustment sliders (the hinges) being a major point of failure. * **The Pull:** The mic is best-in-class and, from my research, this is arguably one of the best headsets for FPS imaging. It’s also incredibly light. **3. HyperX Cloud III S Wireless** * **The Fear:** It feels "too simple." No ChatMix dial, basic software, and no extra bells and whistles. Is the tech too dated compared to the others? * **The Pull:** Legendary 120-hour battery. Fewer charging cycles = longer battery health. It’s the "Honda Civic" of headsets-reliable and comfortable. **4. Fractal Design Scape** * **The Fear:** It’s a newer entry in the headset market. Is the durability proven? Is the fabric-heavy design going to wear out or get dirty faster than leather/plastic? * **The Pull:** The Charging Dock is a game-changer for me (no more worn-out USB ports). It has a sober, premium build and uses the LC3+ codec for ultra-low latency. If your goal was to **never buy another headset again** (or at least for the next 5-7 years), which one would you choose? I wish I had your luck! I've gone through HyperX Clouds, Razer Krakens, and Sonys. Even with me babying them, it's always something: earpads peeling like a snake, one side randomly dying, or the mic starting to hiss like a haunted radio. I’m basically cursed. Trying to find a 'tank' this time so I can finally stop the madness!

I got my razer kraken 6 years ago for 80€ and still love them

Razor Kraken is good Edit: whatever you can't win on Reddit I give up. Every post I try to post I'm not allowed to talk in the comments because of bad karma and the ones that I am allowed to talk in everybody always gives me negative reviews no matter what I say. I'm sorry I can't afford beats by Dre but if you're looking in the $50 tier The kraken is a good headset I've owned one now for over 2 years and it's just fine for playing call of duty it has good base and good quality microphone but yeah if you're going to compare it to some $400 headset probably not
