Accentum plus or momentum 4 - aptx adaptive for gaming. You can get creative bt w5 for pc connection
Ugh the touch controls on my sennheiser accentum plus are so garbage and inconsistent. They also feel like they’re constantly about to fall out and I have to hold them in to actually hear them properly lil
Hello fellow audiophiles, I just wanted to share my experience so far with high end headphones for the first time. Its like a new world opened up that was hidden all along. When you first play your favorite songs thats youve been listening to your whole life, its like, damn. Its like a whole other song and experience. Truly mind blowing. Next step is a dac and now im hooked so it might go down hill from here. Ive always wanted hi fi headphones but I'm still a student so never had the money for it. Now im almost done my studies and cant wait to spend more in the future lol.
Yeah, I debated a lot if I should get open back or closed back, but in my situation, the logical choice was closed back, definitely. But in the future, I will for sure try open backs.
Now im not the most experienced fella here, but in my opinion, 100% definitly. I had the momentum 4s a while back and they were decent, but its not even close to being the same. Not even close.
no my bad, it was the accentum plus I had. Not the momentum 4s. But anyways still pretty good headphones.
Yes, definitly want to build a hi fi setup over time. Thx for the info, although many people in the comments tell me I dont need one wich is weird kuz when I did my research, i came to the conclusion that its better to have a external DAC than rely on the DAC of the PC (or whatever you are using).
Well I use them with my PC and they are definitly loud enough for my ears. I listen to music and play video games most of the time. Once in a while I make some music as well. In fact, I have my windows on 25% volume because they're pretty loud and quite a bit louder than my previous pair.
As someone who is returning the ult for Accentum plus, definitely accentum. ULT Wear has a lot of bass. It is the bassiest headphones in any range. I had got it for 6k, but it was so bad that I am still selling it on OLX.
theyre worth spending money on when ur an audiophile, i had the sennheiser ie200s, ie900s, sony xm5s, and now the sennheiser momentum 4s. the clarity is unmatched and top tier, i dont think theyre worth it if you’re js buying them for normal daily usage, if you’re really into music and want top notch sound quality then it is worth it. the sony ult wear has better ANC compared to the sennheiser accentum plus, but the sound quality of the accentums is slightly better(better lows and highs). accentums have a way better battery life too. the ult wear has better bass though. in conclusion, if ur gonna buy this to listen to music which is bass-centric, go for the ult wear, if you want more clarity and seperation, go for the accentum plus.
I just bought a Sennheiser Accentum Plus and am liking it so far. I use wired and a small DAC on my phone with USBAP. It sounds very good in my opinion.
Wait for the sale, recently Sennheiser accentum plus went on sale for 7k
Back in March i guess
Okay here are my two cents, you need to make up your mind about what you prioritise, the M50xBT2 offers quite possibly the best sound quality at this bracket in wireless headphones, they're very comfortable and they're built to last. But they lack ANC Sony XM4s should be at around the same price, they offer the best noise canceling at that price, a very muddy sound signature and an okay build quality. Also not the most comfortable. Sennheiser's Accentum Plus is literally a middleground between the two in most qualities, an okay ANC, good sound quality, good build and great battery life. Make your choice out of these three, there are possibly some stuff that I cannot currently think of but these three easily rule out everything else you mentioned in your list. Beats aren't worth their tag, soundcore and sony are literal basscannons that are even worse than the XM4 in terms of muddiness, bose I cannot really comment on.
