Noise cancellation is always on.Volume is either too high or low.Once you tweak eq,sound is lowered further.I have AirPods pro too.
LeAnarchiste1st, you don't have to go 20k + for sound quality 2nd XM4 sounds muddy as well. Many clean sounding headphones are there in budget, Sennheiser HR450bt, accentum/plus, edifier W820NB. If you go wired then the options are endless.

AntAcceptable9709Sennheiser accentum for your budget fits best there are not many options under 10k for a good pair tbh...i think you can grab accentum for sub 10k and for that price they are best it segment
