Anc 2 sounds good even if they're not fitting perfectly. I mean like if you gotta put them over thick hair or over your hat and there's that little space remaining, it won't lose much details with anc on
r/Skullcandy • It is worth it getting any type of skullcandy headphones? ->I have anc 2 and Bose ultraquiet comfort. Yes the Bose sounds better put together but if you wanna feel the music, skullcandy is for you. I've heard evos are nice as well so just get the one on sale
r/Skullcandy • It is worth it getting any type of skullcandy headphones? ->I have the Skullcrusher ANC 2 and as much as a love them, I don't wear them at the gym anymore because I sweat. I actually love them, they're so light and seriously I've given myself a fright before if the bass is too high. Plus the battery lasts a long time, I reckon 2 full days on a charge with heavy audible usage.
r/workout • Noise cancelling headphones recommendations ->Lol well they don't resist staining by bronzer, so maybe don't wear that to the gym, just as a helpful suggestion. They do resist moisture, I just don't like sweaty ears. Noise cancellation is very good, I can drown out the gyms music. These are the ones I wear. r/workout • Noise cancelling headphones recommendations ->Skullcandy Crusher ANC, they are absolute beasts.
r/workout • Best Headphones for Working Out? ->I went with skullcandy crusher anc2 and they fucking ROCK! Screw the haters out there. These things are bad ass ... the bass is phenomenal. I work 10 hour shifts in a cnc shop blasting Testament, Soulfly, Slayer, etc all day everyday for last 2 months. Go to bestbuy and test them out... you'll see $149
r/heavymetal • Best headphones for heavy metal? ->Ngl skull candy was a brand I always saw as trashy/cheap, sold my AirPod maxes (never used them) ANC 2s were running for 120$ on amazon, I kick myself for not knowing how good they are. Yes the aware mode won’t be as good as maxes but dear god, everything is the same if not better and 4x lighter. Plus bass goes brrrrrr
r/Skullcandy • Best headphones to date ->Yes I came from the AirPod maxes get the anc 2s
r/Skullcandy • Best headphones to date ->Yes I came from maxes the only difference in quality is the aware mode and it’s not bad on ANC it’s just not as crispy clear as maxes but I promise it ain’t worth 400$ more and 4x heavier
r/Skullcandy • Best headphones to date ->If you're looking for decent wireless noise cancelling in that price category you can always grab a pair of Soundcore Q30 (or 35 if you can get them used/on sale) For plain old wired headphones in the $30-40 range you can always snag the Koss Porta Pros, or the KPH30i. They sound much better than you'd expect, especially if you swap out the pads. Moving up the price range you'll find things like the Audio Technica ATH-M50x (Wired or Wireless), Grado SR60/80 (Wired), Beyer Dynamics DT770 (Wired). These all sound different, ATH being more bass, Grado lots of Treble, and Beyers are flat. If you like thumpy headphones you can absolutely enjoy Skullcandy Crushers, or Marley over ears. The latter have a pretty solid build quality whereas the other are more affordable. Everyone has a preference, so just enjoy what sounds good to you. I would probably shy away from unreviewed no name headphones like those you linked, though!
r/headphones • Good Headphones? ->anc 2’s sound pretty good when you use the custom EQ and take the personalized sound test
r/Skullcandy • Best headphones to date ->These are what I'd have gone with if bass wasn't my bread & butter. I went with the Beyr Custom One Pros instead and never looked back. (Trigger warning for this sub) That said, bc I'm a bass goon, I just grabbed a refurbished set of Skullcandy Crusher ANC2 for $110 and they're my new favorite "fun" headphones. The haptic bass is just silly fun and the sound is YEARS ahead of my old, original Crushers. I use the 1Pros for fidelity and the ANC2 for dailies. ...but I'm more of a car/home audio guy. Focal in the car, Definitive/SVS in the house
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best bang for the buck "audiophile" grade headphones ->Have some skullcandy crushers I use when I lift heavy at the gym then on other days I use my TOZO open ear rings they sound amazing for what I paid for them $26
r/PHitness • Why do people workout with these headphones? Don't they get sweaty and hurt your head after a while ->Perhaps Sennheiser battery implementation is better than others. But even the best batteries have a service life. It’s an expected failure point, and the refusal for a company to identify this issue is an example of consumerism at it’s worst. I had a Drop Panda and two Skullcandy Crushers completely die in exactly a year I could have ordered a appropriate replacement battery and soldered in myself except the cup housings were snapped and glued to be permanently sealed. I really don’t understand what companies have against putting a cover plate on the electronics to make it accessible. It doesn’t require complex engineering to make a headphone serviceable. It’s just designed obsolescence and corporate greed IMO.
