Good Point! I snapped the plastic on the outside the 3D pulse elites trying to cover my head over a hoodie whilst on a bus, the snap was pretty clean and used my plastic staple gun & welded the crack working fine but decided to keep them homebound rather than taking them out again
At home I use the Pulse 3D headset, the USB link remains within my PS5. The Sony WH1000XM5 are my commuting headphones so when I'm out and about I tend to carry a 3.5mm cable & connect via the Aux. If I am travelling long haul (flights or long trains journeys) I tend to use this [Ugreen Aux Bluetooth 6.0] (https://amzn.eu/d/8ZXIrLc) so I can connect through my pixel buds, the latency isn't the worse I didn't really want to fork out for an Avantree or an Airfly. I'm intrigued by the pulse explorers I wouldn't buy them brand new because being roughly around the same price as the portal itself I can't justify it but I do see them on eBay without the dongle for a lot cheaper and I wonder if they can connect to portal without the dongle or whether I can connect them to my existing dongle without having to unmatch my existing pulse 3d headset
Ps5 pulse headphones have been a game changer when I’m working on crafts.
I’ve been using the PS5 3D pulse headset been working perfect since release. I know people had issues with the headband snapping and the ear cushion part tearing etc. Not ran into those issues thankfully 🙏
I like the Sony 3d pulse headset pretty well.
I've used both the Pulse 3D and the Pulse Elite and have had no issues
I use the Pulse 3D by Sony, they don't pinch too hard. You may want to think about earbuds. PlayStation has these now https://www.playstation.com/en-us/accessories/pulse-explore-wireless-earbuds/
Yeah same here in Netherlands unfortunately. Just checked. Not sure, never had a open back but I think it's not for gaming per se. I got a standard ps5 one and a Dali Io8 for music, but the quality difference between these two is enormous... So I'm always annoyed by my ps5 one haha.
I can only speak to my experiences. I’ve tried the pulse 3d, which I liked until they broke, then Astro A20s, which were the most comfortable, but the sound wasn’t much better than the pulse 3d. And these arctis 7s sound unreal compared to the two. I’m no audio expert - just my personal experience.
honestly you can’t really go wrong with most of those.cos most wireless headsets sound good enough for ps5 anyway. but the real difference shows after a few hours of wearing them. stuff like clamp pressure, padding, and headband weight make or break long sessions. also check how each handles cross device use. some headsets (like the nova 7p) make switching between console and pc or phone easy. also [this guy](https://medium.com/@bnazir592/my-pc-setup-journey-wireless-headsets-were-the-hardest-part-to-nail-down-53f6c38dfef6) started building a pc and grabbed some dope components. like the corsair keyboard and asus monitor. he also picked the steelseries nova for the headset. so you can also check what he has to say about it. the sony pulse 3d sounds nice but has weaker battery and doesn’t feel as comfy for marathon gaming. if you play late at night or share a space then closed back designs help a ton. cos they keep sound from leaking and block background noise better. and whatever you get, just update the firmware before judging the mic quality. cos a lot of them improve after patches.
I’ve been interested in the Pulse 3d set since it came out. Wife got me them for Christmas. They are awesome. Highly recommend.
