Good Point! I snapped the plastic on the outside the 3D pulse elites trying to cover my head over a hoodie whilst on a bus, the snap was pretty clean and used my plastic staple gun & welded the crack working fine but decided to keep them homebound rather than taking them out again

At home I use the Pulse 3D headset, the USB link remains within my PS5. The Sony WH1000XM5 are my commuting headphones so when I'm out and about I tend to carry a 3.5mm cable & connect via the Aux. If I am travelling long haul (flights or long trains journeys) I tend to use this [Ugreen Aux Bluetooth 6.0] (https://amzn.eu/d/8ZXIrLc) so I can connect through my pixel buds, the latency isn't the worse I didn't really want to fork out for an Avantree or an Airfly. I'm intrigued by the pulse explorers I wouldn't buy them brand new because being roughly around the same price as the portal itself I can't justify it but I do see them on eBay without the dongle for a lot cheaper and I wonder if they can connect to portal without the dongle or whether I can connect them to my existing dongle without having to unmatch my existing pulse 3d headset

I guess depends on the game. I got pulse 3d, cloud 3, turtle beach 2 gen, Arctis nova 5. Sound wise Arctis nova 5 is better than these. Comfort + sound cloud 3 wireless.

I use my ps5 Sony - PULSE 3D Wireless Gaming Headset for PS5 and just plug an AUX cord into both my headset and portal I do the same thing when i play using my ps5 controller. It also works great for my Nintendo Switch.

I’ve been using the PS5 3D pulse headset been working perfect since release. I know people had issues with the headband snapping and the ear cushion part tearing etc. Not ran into those issues thankfully 🙏

I’m still using the original PS Pulse headphones as they’ve been really good to me, but the ear cups are starting to tear, so hopefully this thread gives me some options lol

I like the Sony 3d pulse headset pretty well.

Pulse 3D... they are okay... doubt I'd buy them again though. I'm super casual so they get the job done for me for about 2 hours a day.
