I had this issue too. It went away when I started using an elgato capture card then plugging the dongle into my Mac

Legit, for years now, I’ve used headsets whenever possible. It started with competitive online shooters and then segued to everything else. Now, occasionally, I will find myself playing without for some odd reason but it’s very sub par. Once you start using a decent set of cans and you enjoy the 3D audio, it feels like almost a minor handicap going to tv speakers. I will admit, I have never gamed with some major surround set up but possibly that aside, the headphones are wear it’s at. I had Sony brand Playstation ones until they broke and the second time one broke I bought a cheap Logitech set and it’s still pretty great. And lighter weight and better battery life. Sony’s models are great, but pricey.

ppl just have to remember about the crackling noise the audeze and pulse elite make. It's annoying.

it's cheap plastic so it's light, pretty common thing unless you want it to be $600 because it's Mg alloy which will corrode after any scratch it gets, it's 150 grams lighter than Maxwell and it uses similar planar drivers

Got a pair of the Pulse Elites i can hotswap between my Portal and PS5 with ease. I also have a pair of XM4s with a 3.5 cable in case the Elites need charging, they work pretty well.

recently switched to planar magnetic headphones, and in Battlefield 6, the difference compared to a budget gaming headset is immediately noticeable. Even with multiple layers of sound happening simultaneously, the volume and clarity remain consistent and not dipping — rEverything just stays fully immersive.
