I see a few Sony recommendations in the comments, and i agree. I use the Sony WH-CH720N and their Sound Connect app enables you to customize and control everything, plus battery life is pretty good.
I also had the xm3 before wearing them out. I decided to try the cheaper CH720N and they are great. Build quality feels a bit worse, they are much lighter and I think the noise cancelling on the xm3 is a bit better. But the CH720N sound great, especially for the price.
Been using them for over a year & I love them. I got an additional case but I've put the headphones in my backpack most of the times w/out the case because it's really bulky which takes up a lot of space. I often lay them on my neck as well when i go out. No dents/scratch/flaws so far so i have nothing to complain about the build quality.
to be fair the build feels plasticky, especially since it's very lightweight as well. i put it in the case whenever i go out, but i sometimes lay them around my neck too. i have a headphones stand for when i don't use the headphones
i'd go for the Sony WH CH720N. A lot of quality for the price. In europe you can find it for 60 euros. Problably something like that in America.
Sony whch720n. I use it for everything you mentioned and it’s good. The anc isn’t super good but it’s decent when you’re listening to anything at 40% with it on. The sound quality is exceptional though
Tbh I ain’t completely sure because I mostly use it when I’m sitting in my room or im at college so I don’t do much physical exercise with it so I won’t be able to answer this. They’re definitely a bit flimsy though lmao but it hasn’t shown any signs of breaking or any part will fall out
Yes. Ch720ns are very well regarded. When I was researching on the ULTs I saw some comparisons with the 720n and almost all reviewers praised it.
I have a pair of [these](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-WH-CH720N-Cancelling-Bluetooth-Headphones-Black/dp/B0BTDX26B2/ref=sr_1_5?crid=TN2VIOGORTQT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9._ku-BPfnIfwpPedNrA9phti_2aOS9ZvXkAMiDhUYUqaMg1M-e2WnCKzO-WeqDs1rOvdmKrJnz2gB2PzTAvoTnmnNgKdG45nGDq1Kput3l_eRMkM1jFSwaFEw5ZWkrd3itcATAR7oqqOGEwzrvQHh_l2arqD8nW8ptjHguhqTQiFGxXx-9qqvEWVvm_LDFih7ENn8FgyfuerXd8ZlbCwLuPaMht9m1jbbpYUxvZyn7dw.hAS940n_gZMk8PJZVL2bJZxFz_ieRVxsKRBSfyY7xtw&dib_tag=se&keywords=sony+headphones&qid=1765025316&sprefix=sony+head%2Caps%2C137&sr=8-5) Sony headphones. I mainly use them for around the house, wfh and to the gym the odd time and they do the job! There's a cheaper set from Sony for about €35 that my partner uses for the same thing and loves them.
Of your list I have tried the Baseus, Sonys and Soundcore Q45. The Sonys are very light and comfortable. Sound is reasonably good and is customisable through the EQ on the Sony app. ANC is decent though not on the level of the more premium models. They do not fold up (though do fold flat) and do not come with any sort of case though so if you want a case you will need to buy one separately. Build quality might appear a little flimsy due to their light weight. However, I have had my pair for three years and they remain my "beater" pair for exercise and doing work around the house and have yet to have a problem with them. The Soundcore Q45s I personally found very uncomfortable and they hurt my head after a short time of using them. Sound also had some weird tinny aspect to it. I have never tried the Space One or Q30s but people seem to like them and I have read that they are better than the Q45. They do come with a hardshell case and do fold up though. I have the Baseus on my head right now. They are very comfortable and sound good. Bose collaborated with Baseus on the tuning of these. Of the three headphones these are the best sounding and have the best build quality IMO. These also come included with a nice hardshell case and the headphones fold down into it. Overall I would recommend the Baseus Inspire XH1 as the most "premium" headphone out of the three. The Sonys are also decent and are quite a bit cheaper than the Baseus now. However, they feel more like a "cheaper" headphones than the Baseus does - and do not fold up or have a case included. I would not recommend the Soundcore Q45. I hope this is helpful to you, and you are happy with whatever headphone you choose. 👍
Mam WH-CH720N i też dobrze służą. To ta niższa półka cenowa, ale jakość jest świetna.
I have a set on the 1.0.9 firmware version. Honestly, I'm deeply disappointed. I'm using mine mainly as a headset for office calls. Sound quality is very good when listening to audio, but I have the following issues: 1: Constantly dropping bluetooth connection to desktop PC. I have no idea what's going on, and it's not an easy fix. The PC still claims to be connected, and disconnecting/reconnecting doesn't work. Often, unpairing and repairing the headset doesn't work either. 2. The ambient noise cancellation on the mic is problematic. It does a reasonable job of cancelling background noise, but if a colleague is near me talking, the headset picks this up and interprets it as me talking, so amplifies it accordingly. The person I am talking to complains of echo when we're on group calls. 3. In general, the sound quality of the mic isn't very good. Others frequently complain they can't hear me. 4. The lack of mute button on the headset is known and well documented, but, honestly, it's a bigger pain than I thought it would be. It's extra frustrating that it would only take a software update for Sony to implement this on the play/next/previous button when using voice calling apps, but for some reason has not done so. If all I was doing was listening to music on my phone, I think I would be reasonably happy, but for what I'm trying to use them for, I would look elsewhere.
