I relate to this issue a lot since I'm very sensitive about things on or around my head and tend to get painful sensations or a headache quite fast! A few months ago I got the Soundcore Space One over-ear headphones and specifically paid attention to the head thingie being made of soft material and having a slight V rather than a U shape so that wearing the headphones applies no pressure to the top of my head or anywhere else really at all. There have been days when I've been wearing them for 6+ hours and never had or felt an issue with tightness or pain! They have amazing noise canceling (plus you can change the strength of it with an app) and an amazing sound quality when listening to music! I have also tried the Sony WH-1000XM4 at a store, the noise canceling of those is a tiny bit better and they're just as comfortable to wear but they also cost a lot more! So I can definitely recommend the Soundcore Space One headphones if you're looking for long-term comfortable wear!
I have the Soundcore Space Ones, they are pretty awesome for the price. I recommend them personally speaking.
Anker Soundcore Space One. Excellent noise cancelation. Very comfortable. Great mic. Will not break the bank.
Anker Space One. Very good ANC and a fraction of the price of some of the other brands being mentioned here.
I have anker sound core ones. Brilliant quality and noise cancelling.
I use Anker Soundcore Space one headphones over mine. They are over the ear headphones not on the ear. I have no feedback issues at all. Noise cancelling is great. I have Phonak Lumity 70 hearing aids.
Soundcore over ear headphones. I currently have the Space ones but the Q20 are great also. Just make sure they are over the ear not on ear.
The tricky point is going to be gym usage. Very few over ear headphones have any kind of waterproofing/sweatproofing, and you're probably going to be making compromises on something else to get that. For the Space One specifically, I can say that they don't clamp particularly tightly, so in addition to the lack of sweatproofing, they're not going to stay on particularly well when working out. But they're cheaper than the others, and tick all the other boxes, so it might make sense to use the change to get some cheap in-ears. If they're available where you are and you can find them in your budget, you might also want to consider the CMF Headphone Pro, the Fairphone Fairbuds XL, and the Skullcandy Crusher 540 Active. The only one of those I have personal experience with is the CMF Headphone Pro (which I really like, but its IPX2 waterproofing is still on the low side for exercise use), but they all boast at least some level of waterproofing, whilst having other tradeoffs that you may or may not be able to live with (the Skullcandy don't have ANC, for example).
I’ve got anker space 1s, wear glasses full time and hate things on the top of my head. My kids sony expensive ones hurt. But the anker ones are so comfortable I even wear them when I’m not listening to anything!
I’ve got anker soundcore ones. They are comfy but my ears are a bit sweaty in the hot weather, so I change to earbuds at times. I hate things on top of my head but I wear my soundcore headphones all day when it is not roasting. I find them more comfy than my daughter’s expensive Sony ones. The noise cancelling probably isn’t as good as the Sony but I am not rich so…
Outside I use the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 bone conducting earphones. They’re extremely comfortable and the sound quality is great. On the treadmill, I use Anker Soundcore Space One over ear headphones. These are great budget NC over ear headphones. Sound quality and NC is great, and battery life is outstanding.
It all comes down to how you treat your devices. My main Q35 has been going fine for over 2 years now. The earpads started tearing, bought a bunch of cheap replacements from Aliexpress! The new Space One series also seems to have a good build quality.
It is an extra bass headphone, but I think with the choices that it would be solid the Sony Ult Wear. I tried them at Best Buy, and I liked the comfort, anc, sound quality. I also tried the JBL live 770nc, and I liked them for comfort and bassy sound. The Sennheiser Accentum Plus has really good reviews. I heard that it has a tight clamp originally, but it loosens up.. Cnet picked them as their favorite mid priced headphone. This list that David, the cnet editor, put together is really helpful. [https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/best-wireless-headphones/](https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/best-wireless-headphones/) I picked up the Soundcore Space 1. I chose them because of a great sale price. It has a nice punchy bass, good app with tons of eq choices, good anc, good microphone for zoom conferences. It had good reviews at Best Buy and Amazon. So, it definitely is a solid choice. It usually is $100.00 or sometimes less. The Soundcore Q45 is their top tier product. It sounds like it has a bit more detail on instruments. It looked a bit more bulky. So, I went with the space, but many people enjoy these.
There is pretty decent stuff. I use the Soundcore Space 1. If you put music on low and use the adaptive ANC it blocks about 70% of machine noises and 50. % on voices. The Sony Ult Wear is their extra bass headphone it has ANC likely a bit better than Soundcore. Edifier has decent ANC with their 830 or 950 headphones. JLab Lux is decent too. David Carnoy of CNET really liked the Sennheiser A centum plus. Good sound quality and decent ANC. He picked it as best mid priced headphones.
There are a good number of excellent headphones (I am a non audiophile) for 150 or less. David Carnoy of Cnet does good reviews at Cnet.com. His favorite mid priced is the Sennheiser Accentum Plus. It usually is 220.00 but it is 149 at Best Buy. He also did like the Sony 720n. It is 99.00. I have the Space 1 by Soundcore. It is a good sounding headphone for bass fans. So, I think the Q45 should be good, but these other 2 are good too. If you wanted to order one other one and then choose between the 2. The Sony xm4 at 160 is a very good item too.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1. Good cushions and good anc. Anc blocks about 70% of machine noises and 50% of voices with adaptive ANC on. Sony Ult seems to be going on sale more often. It is an extra bass headphone, but I really like the pads and anc when I was able to try them at Best Buy. The 1 More Sonoflow Pro has great reviews (the original Sonoflow had good sound quality, but they improved the ANC with this new release). JBL Live 770nc or Tune 770nc are good ones too.
I have used the Soundcore Space 1 for a year: solid base focused sound, good anc for the price, good comfort. The 1 More Sonoflow Pro, Sony c720, JBL Tune 770nc are good too.
I have been using the Space 1 for about a year. It definitely has plenty of volume, and it does have a safety system if you want that. It has a nice punchy bass. It needed to be eqed, but it was good afaater that (the wavelet app does have some good eq suggestions). The Q30 has a design flaw where the headband tends to crack in about 10 months. It seems the earcups are too heavy for the headband. The Space 1 are really comfortable. People who pick up at the Sony 720 do like it. The sound is about the same as teh Soundcore.
I have had the Space 1 for a year. I am not audiophile I just want good bass that does ruin vocal. The Space 1 has been good because the app gives you good eq options, and it is really comfortable, the anc is quite good for the price. So, it is definitely a good one to try. Those others are really good too. The 1 More Sonoflow Pro does have great reviews. So, it is definitely is worth a try. David Carnoy that does the Cnet reviews thought for several years that the original Sonoflow was one of the best sounding 100 usd headphones. Cnet basically is more interested in traffic than pushing brands. So, they have been reliable to me on home audio. I tried the Sony 720 it sounded really good (similar to the Soundcore Space 1). The headphones don't fold is the only major negative. Obviously, it is not deal maker, but the Space 1 fit into the hard case that I had from the Soundcore Q30 that makes taking to work or a local cafe much easier.
The Sony 720n and Sony Ult Wear have about $50 off for each at Best Buy and Amazon. I have the Soundcore Space 1 that I like. Soundcore Q45 is good too. They come with an 18 month warranty I just order online so you print your order later if needed.
The Soundcore Space 1 is solid. It is a bass centric headphone, but it sounds pretty good after getting EQ. I do like the Wavelet apps suggested eq for these. 1more Sonoflow Pro has great reviews re sound quality. I have taken suggestions for a few of these sites previously such as Cnet, and they were accurate on their views. Sony 720n or JBL Tune 770nc are good too.
It is really solid. I have enjoyed it.
I picked up the Soundcore Space 1. Good ambient mode and good ANC and good microphone. Sound quality is decent if you like a bass forward sound. I tried the Sony Ult Wear and JBl live 770nc. They seemed quite good when I tried them. The Sony XM4 or Bose QC are likely to be on sale in early July
The Soundcore Space 1 is good. I use it with music on low and it blocks 70 percent of machine noises like leaf blowers. Soundcore Q45 is good too. The Edifier 820 plus and Sony 720n are solid too. The Ult Wear is an xb headphone, but it likely has better ANC than the 720.
I have the Soundcore Space 1. The microphone works well for zoom and webex calls. You may get a little background noise if you had a radio nearby while taking a call, but your voice will be 3x louder than the background. The multipoint works well too. The Soundcore Q45 was released at about the same time. It is really similar on options. I had posted something for someone on r/SonyHeadphones . People did like the XM5 for use with teams. Several people had their work pay for half of the remote work headphones, and these people like the Sony. Just stay away from the Xm4 because it has a bad microphone. The Sony Ult Wear is an extra bass headphone, but it is comfortable, has a good microphone, and good anc, good multi point. The Bose Quietcomfort headphone is good too. It sometimes has been on sale lately.
There are a ton of options right now. I liked the Soundcore Space 1 that I picked up last year. I don't get any latency. I sometimes watch random youtube videos on my work from home laptop. These are really comfortable for me, and I don't get any latency. I usually do use the AAC codec that Apple like to use on their phones or with Apple Music. Decent ANC too. Soundcore are not the most durable, but this model is better than my former one the Q30. You do get an 18 month warranty. I just order from Amazon or Best Buy usa. It is easy to keep with purchase there. A few others ones that are the 720n. Solid ANC and quite good sound. One negative is they don't fold up for transport. There are some after market cases. I do like hard cases as they protect the headphones from stupid stuff I do like have headphone roll around in the trunk with my laptop bag. A few other good ones are either JBL Tune 770nc or Live 770nc. The Live has nicer pads, but these both are solid items. JBL does have a low latency mode in their app. So, you can definitely avoid latency on movies. Some headphone blogs have really like the 1 More Sonoflow Pro. Good sound quality, decent anc, comes with its own hard case. It also uses the AAC codec as well as offering an LDAC codec for better sound quality.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1 that I picked up last July. I did notice that there are some replacements pads for the Soundcore Q45 or the Space 1 on Amazon USA. I still have the original pads on the older Q30 after 2 years, but I am more a 8-10 hours a week user. The Sony XM4 has been getting major discounts with the XM5 being out for several years. There are a ton of pads for those. If you don't need immediately, it is highly likely in 30 day period that Best Buy and Amazon will have a rebate dropping the price by $50-99. Sennheiser Accentum Plus or Momentum 4 both have good sound quality. There are replacement pads for both these on Amazon. It sounds like Sennheiser pads are some of the easiest to change since they have a good number of high dollar headphones. David Carnoy of Cnet did pick the accentum plus as his favorite mid priced wireless headphone. Below is his list of wireless headphones. You can click on any item to get detailed reviews. He also does brief but informative reviews on the Cnet youtube channel. [https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/best-wireless-headphones/](https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/best-wireless-headphones/)
I have the Soundcore Space 1. It can do either ambient or ANC while wired. So, I think the other Soundcore will do the same. JLab Lux does this too. I looked at those. I like the DHRME YouTube channel from the Netherlands. They always test ANC headphones while wired.
The XM4 and Bose Quietcomfort are at a good price with good build quality. I sometimes buy the Soundcore models. They have a 18 month warranty that includes head band cracks. The Soundcore Space 1 or Q45 are solid. The Accentum Plus by Sennheiser is a good model too.
The Soundcore Space 1 has good ANC at the 100 mark. The Sony Ult Wear or Sennheiser Accentum are good at 200. The Xm4 or xm5 are good for a bit more. Space 1 has nice pad set up where it has a good seal but doesn't hurt. I tried the JBL live 770nc; they were really comfortable too. I used to have Q30 by Soundcore it was so loose it would fall of your head.
I have the Soundcore Space 1 it has solid bass centric sound and good ANC for the price. It does fold for travel. The Sony Ult Wear is an extra bass headphone, but it seemed well made, and the bass was not over powering. Good ANC that is better than the 720. I tried these at Best Buy usa, but I don't own them, but I definitely would consider buying in the future. The Space 1 Pro have excellent ANC, but it is really strongly tuned for bass. Seems to be well made from seeing a few youtube reviews. Sometimes Soundcore durability is not so bad, but they offer an 18 month warranty that includes damage to the headband.
Sony Ult headphones seemed good when I was able to try those. This is an extra bass model. The Souncore Space 1 seems solid after a year. Microphone can pick up some background, but it blocks out about half of the background noise. They are comfortable for me. It has decent sound if you don't mind a bass centered sound. I have heard some good stuff about JBL Live 770nc, but I did not get a chance to try the microphone or anc, but I have heard microphone is good unless wind noise is an issue.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1 that I got in July. JBL Tune 770, JLab Lux are good ones too.
The Soundcore does sound good (I have the Space 1). The Jlab Lux is worth a look too. I saw a good price at [jlab.com](http://jlab.com) recently. They use Amazon shipping. So, it arrives quickly.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1 that I purchased last year. The Soundcore Q20i is a good item for less. The original 1 More Sonoflow is good too. They released the Pro version, but the original is still good. The Earfun Wave and Edifier 830 are solid too. I know that people like the QCY earbuds. So, I think the H3 headphones are likely good, but I have not tried them.
The Sony Xm5 seem really good for music as well as Teams or Zoom. I have always had good luck with Soundcore items. I have been using the Soundcore Space 1 for 6 months. They connect well to a Lenovo that runs Windows 11. It comes with a cord. So, you can always use them corded. They just need the power on to sound decent. They sound really bad without the power on. I use a lot of Cisco Web Ex or Zoom.
The Sony Ult, Sony Xm4, Bose Quiet Comfort are the best at about 200. Sony 720, Soundcore Space 1 or Q45, JBL Tune 770, 1 More Sonoflow Pro are some of the best ones at 100.00.
I have really liked the Soundcore Space 1. It is a bass centric headphones. Good sound, good ANC, good comfort. Great value at 99. If you get a good price on the XM4 sub 300. It is a good headphone except for the microphone. The Sony Ult is really comfortable as the XM4 is. It is an extra bass headphone, but it is tuned well for this style. I tried at Best Buy and liked the sound on the Pop and Hip hop tracks it could play.
ANC can be a bit of a hit and miss on dogs and kids. Sony Ult is an extra bass headphone, but it does have good ANC. Sony XM4 or XM5 are a bit better. Bose QC is quite good too . I use the Soundcore Space 1. With music on low it reduces machine noises by 70 % & voices from TV by 50%. The DHRME YouTube channel grades ANC. Space 1 is grade B as is Sony 720. XM4 or XM5 QC are tier A with Ult about a A-. Playing music like jazz or classical on low helps a lot.
I have generally liked the Soundcore Space 1 headphones that I picked up. The Sony Ult Wear or Sony 720n are newer with a newer bluetooth version. So, they may be better too. The Sennheiser Accentum Plus seem to be well liked from seeing some reviews of those. They have been released in the last two years. So, they may be better also. The JBL Live 770nc should be good too. They have a low latency mode in their app.
I picked up the Soundcore Space 1. It seemed pretty solid. The anc is pretty good at the 100 usd mark.. With music on low it blocks about 70% of machine noises and 50% of voices. It has a bass centric sound, but it eqs well. The Soundcore Space 1 Pro has an excellent ANC, but it does have a really strong bass tuning. The Sony Ult Wear is Sony's extra bass headphones, but it is not quite as strong on the bass as the Space 1 Pro. It does seem comfortable with very good ANC. I did see the Bose Quietcomfort went on sale today. It seems like a well made headphone. Bose gives me more cabin pressure in my ears than Sony or Soundcore. So, if you can try it at Best Buy or elsewhere it does help. I did try the JBl Live 770 nc at Best Buy. It was really comfortable with good sound quality. The ANC is not as good as Sony or Bose, but it seems to be good from reading reviews. The demo model did not seem to allow you to test the ANC or at least I could not figure how to activate it.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1 seems to have better build quality than the Q30. It has a bit more of a punchy bass sound. After I found a good eq it sounded pretty solid . I used the Wavelet suggested eq.
I liked the Soundcore Space 1 that I bought a year ago. Good bass centric sound, good ANC, good comfort, good microphone. JBL Tune 770nc is well liked here in the US. I saw some very good reviews on the 1 More Sonoflow Pro ; so, it is a legitimate good options. Sony 720n is good too.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1 for a year. The Q30 sounds good but the headband will likely break in a year . Warranty is 18 months. Sony 720 is good if price is 99 or under. Edifier just released the 820nb Version 2. It sounds like a good option but I have not tried it. 1 more Sonoflow Pro is a good 1 too. David editor at CNET has felt that the Sonoflow offer great sound for 99.
It is hard to tell the very best, but these below are fairly solid. * JBL Tune 770nc * Sony 720n * 1 More Sonoflow Pro * Soundcore Space 1 or Q45. I have the Space 1 for about a year. It has been good especially after finding a good eq.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1 as a value purchase. Good ANC and comfort and microphone at the price. Sony Ult Wear is nice pickup for the bass fans.
I have the Soundcore Space 1. The ANC seems quite good. For me the pads are comfortable and create a good seal. They have improved the ambient mode for what I had with the Q30 (a lot of white noise). Soundcore Warranty is 18 months and Jlab is 24 months. I did try the Jlab Lux. It seemed pretty good on anc and sound. I was able to try the Best Buy demo.
I enjoyed trying the Sony Ult Wear at Best Buy USA. I picked up the Soundcore Space 1 last July. It has a decent bass sound with a small bass boost. JBL live 770nc seemed nice too.
Agree with this. I have the Space 1 good bass centric sound, good anc, good app to adjust the sound. This a Soundcore product. The 1 More Sonoflow Pro has good reviews so that is good. Here in the US, the Edifier 820nb version 2 just came out. They improved the battery and the anc and the app. It is just 50 on Amazon USA. David Carnoy does the cnet reviews. He likes the 1 More, Sonoflow Pro, Edfier 820, plus Soundcore for good sound quality. Soundcore has more bass, but the Edifier sounds good too just more midrange.
I have the Soundcore Space 1. It has a decibel cap you can turn on. JLab makes some solid items. Some are specifically for kids. Good company I like their earbuds.
I switched from Q30 to Space 1. I have liked it, and I think the build quality is better. Solid sound and good ANC.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1 it has base centric sound, but it is easy to adust the sound with their app. They are really comfortable with logical button, and they have a good ANC and Ambient modes. I know that both the JBL Tune 770 or Live 770nc are well liked by Best Buy shoppers. I got some recs of headpones available for 125 and under. The Live is a bit more plush with the cushions. The Sony 720n has quite good sound. The main negative seems to be that they don't fold for travel, and the padding is a bit thin. It's not terrible: just average.
I have the Space 1 by Soundcore. You can definitely switch between ambient and anc mode while on a call. If it is quiet I sometime activate transparency so can hear own voice better regarding volume and pace. I mostly do zoom.
I have liked the Soundcore Space 1. It is in the budget category. It has good ANC and Ambient mode with little white noise. The Sony lineup of Sony 720, Ult Wear, Xm4 are solid. Bose Quietcomfort is good too. The SE and SC models seem to have an instant rebate currently at Best Buy and Costco and likely elsewhere.
I have the Soundcore Space 1. I did have 2 prior sets of the Q30. I find the ANC pretty good on the Soundcore Space 1. I use it with music on low, but it knocks down about 75% of machine noises and about 50% on voices from TV. I use the microphone in a quiet home office, but the call quality is at least good. I seem to always be heard clearly. The voice memo tests on my phone were solid too. Q45 should offer similar quaities, but I have not been able to try them. Where I live Best Buy and Walmart have it as a warehouse order only. I do like the DHRME youtube channel. They have liked both the Q45 and the Space 1.
