There are diminishing returns in the audiofile/hifi space after certain price points. I have not noticed a significant decrease in ANC between the q45 and q30. Any difference was not due to software. If you look up OPs reddit history, they are young and have significant health issues. $50 might not be much to you or I, but that can be a significant challenge for someone living with their challenges.
I love my soundcore space q45s, I can’t recommend anything more lol
I’ve had mine for over a year, no problems with mine, but I get it!
I have a pair of Soundcore Q45 I would sell you for $75, barely used. They sound great but don't fit my head that well
I use those too, the noise canceling is very good, sound is alright and can be improved a lot with EQ but i haven’t found easy way to apply it when watching the TV.
Of your list I have tried the Baseus, Sonys and Soundcore Q45. The Sonys are very light and comfortable. Sound is reasonably good and is customisable through the EQ on the Sony app. ANC is decent though not on the level of the more premium models. They do not fold up (though do fold flat) and do not come with any sort of case though so if you want a case you will need to buy one separately. Build quality might appear a little flimsy due to their light weight. However, I have had my pair for three years and they remain my "beater" pair for exercise and doing work around the house and have yet to have a problem with them. The Soundcore Q45s I personally found very uncomfortable and they hurt my head after a short time of using them. Sound also had some weird tinny aspect to it. I have never tried the Space One or Q30s but people seem to like them and I have read that they are better than the Q45. They do come with a hardshell case and do fold up though. I have the Baseus on my head right now. They are very comfortable and sound good. Bose collaborated with Baseus on the tuning of these. Of the three headphones these are the best sounding and have the best build quality IMO. These also come included with a nice hardshell case and the headphones fold down into it. Overall I would recommend the Baseus Inspire XH1 as the most "premium" headphone out of the three. The Sonys are also decent and are quite a bit cheaper than the Baseus now. However, they feel more like a "cheaper" headphones than the Baseus does - and do not fold up or have a case included. I would not recommend the Soundcore Q45. I hope this is helpful to you, and you are happy with whatever headphone you choose. 👍
I disagree. I have / had several different soundcore headphones and earbuds. They are objectively bad tuning wise. Also there is no consistency in their sound signature. Every model sounds different. That being said, if you want a pair of wireless headphones with ANC, especially on sale for 40 pounds, it's a good deal. I have used them for work for a couple of years and they have a good battery life, decent ANC, and they're comfortable. Very reliable as well. I had q30, q45 and space one (and like 3-4 earbud models).
If $150USD is your maximum limit then I’d go for the Soundcore Space Q45. Link to product: https://anker.com.bd/product/soundcore-space-q45/
I pledge allegiance to my Soundcore Space Q45 🎧 s! It replaced the JBL Tune 760NC which are still pretty good sounding cans but the Noise cancelling technology is rudimentary & vestigial, & didn't have an auxiliary app while the Space Q45 has an app that also works with the Motion X600 tandem speakers I acquired because the apartment didn't allow TV soundbars! The app has a unique sound limiter feature that cuts the decibel loudness 25 dB from 100dB to 75dB, which makes this Soundcore Space Q45 the perfect headset to give tweens their 1st introduction to quality music that they'll want to get lost into without losing their hearing As for the headphones themselves, you can definitely hear the difference between NC and regular music with the NC activated eradicates the noise so thoroughly it brings out instruments you never heard before! I plan to give the 760s to my bestie, perhaps she will appreciate the musical quality!
Anything made by Anker's Soundcore brand. I snagged their Space Q45 on prime day for $89, but the Q30 are/were less and allegedly sound pretty damn good, maybe even better for music but worse for phone calls. Their Noise Cancelation is among the best, say the reviewers, but they are my first pair of NC headphones so I don't know. Edit: I missed the under $200 part, just saw "poor audiophile", so maybe ignore the Q30, but the reviews I read the last few days days the Q45 were the best under $200. I think the Sony XM4 were under $200 during Prime Days.
Check out the Soundcore models from Anker. Their plastic shells around the slider mechanism tends to crack and break, but a nice piece of duct tape can hold that all together. Seems like an odd thing to say, but honestly the tape doesn't bother me, and when you balance the low price with what you get (sound quality pretty good, battery life is very good, and I'd say the noise canceling is at least good enough). I have Soundcore Space 45, which I am very pleased with. Looks like the newer models have a different headband design, so this might not be an issue anymore.
