Skip these. Get the [Soundcore V20i's from Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2XRXNGY?th=1). I got them a week or so ago for $27.50. They're around $30 presently. They're open ear and are worth every penny. I was skeptical that open ear buds would sound even halfway decent but I've been very impressed. Work well when cycling too.
When I did laps around Central Park many years ago during the hours when cars weren't allowed to use most of the road I wore wired buds, but nowadays I don't use anything. One ear isn't enough, bone conducting phones are too pricey, and I hesitate to even use the on-ear phones I got for running, which allow ambient sounds to come through. Although I'd probably be ok with those as I mostly ride on off-road paved paths and quiet side streets with little traffic these days, plus I have a radar and use a mirror. These are the ones I mean: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2XRXNGY](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2XRXNGY) They actually have pretty decent sound, perfect for running. But maybe too much for cycling.
I use these Soundcore open ear headphones and the battery lasts forever. I love them for when I want to hear what’s around me. I can’t stand the earbuds that plug your ears. Not the best for real audiophile experience, but I use mostly for podcasts. They are about USD 30. https://a.co/d/aTUErET
