Yes.. I use a philips shp 9500 for years, never want to go back to a "gaming headset" they make my ears vomit every time I compare to my Philips 🎧 but I haven't try gaming headset nowadays, the one I'm comparing and I still have it for occasional usage is steelseries arctis 1 wireless.. just because it's wireless and it can produce sound and bass that's it.

Gaming headset. Steelseries Arctis 1 pro wireless which allows me to make lunch, do laundry etc while on a call. Plus they sound great when you have music in the background plus they are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

I have the cheap Arctis 1 Wireless and they're so nice and comfortable. I have been using them daily for 4 years without many issues. I would imagine the higher priced ones must be even better

Check out the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless. i think its under $100, solid positional audio, and comes with a USB-C dongle. Super comfy too. If you can stretch a bit, the Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless is great for around $130 with better soundstage and mic quality

So kinda very stupid question, recently got a pair of audio technica m50xs and was wondering if wearing them with one ear off would cause them to stretch more than if I just wore them normally? I ask as my previous pair of headphones, a pair of arctis 1s got rather stretched out and would fall off my head if I wore them on both ears and looked down. Unsure if those got as stretched as they did due to me mostly wearing them on one ear (because some games I need to be able to hear the audio) or if it was predominantly (it very likely was) because when in a vc/party id put a different set overtop to hear friends with the other ear (said set is a klim puma with a really thin and flexible headband) Tldr will wearing m50xs on one ear stretch them more than wearing them normally?

When you play multiplayer competitive games, you can hear footsteps of the enemies easily. Also you can get good sounding headsets cheaper than a sound system(where i live). I have steelseries arctis 1 headset it sounds so good compared to my tv’s speaker but it is uncomfortable. I am not used to wear headsets so i prefer tv speakers. I played The Last of Us Part 2 while wearing my arctis 1’s and it was an incredible experience. Wish i could use them more often.

If you don't mind me asking - I've had the Arctis 1 and Arctis 3 before and both have really thin ear cushions to the point where they touch my ears and make them hurt after an hour or two because of the friction. Did the Novas do the same to your ears?

I have the wireless Steelseries Arctis for games and music and such, but get much more mileage out of [these](https://www.amazon.com/NUBWO-HW02-Cancelling-Comfortable-Computer/dp/B0DM7J2CVV); the sound quality isn't completely awful, works on PC/laptop/phone and cheap enough if travel becomes necessary I won't cry if they get lost/broken/stolen. Yah, they're wired, but I prefer the lack of fuss and worrying about running out of charge for wireless, etc.

Dunno what headsets you've been using but I'm on my 3rd SteelSeries headset since I've been buying them since 2015. First pair I bought which is the Siberia v2s (iirc) are still working beautifully and I use them with my PS5 when I travel for work. My second pair is an arctis wireless pair, forget the model, but they only got replaced because I was given my current ones as a Christmas present. Zero issues ever.
