Yes.. I use a philips shp 9500 for years, never want to go back to a "gaming headset" they make my ears vomit every time I compare to my Philips 🎧 but I haven't try gaming headset nowadays, the one I'm comparing and I still have it for occasional usage is steelseries arctis 1 wireless.. just because it's wireless and it can produce sound and bass that's it.
r/pcmasterrace • Another „Gaming Headset“ bites the dust, tired of overpriced/hyped headphones. ->I have the cheap Arctis 1 Wireless and they're so nice and comfortable. I have been using them daily for 4 years without many issues. I would imagine the higher priced ones must be even better
r/buildapc • The Best Gaming Headset to Buy Now? ->Check out the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless. i think its under $100, solid positional audio, and comes with a USB-C dongle. Super comfy too. If you can stretch a bit, the Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless is great for around $130 with better soundstage and mic quality
r/BuyItForLife • Recommendation for Gaming Headphones? ->When you play multiplayer competitive games, you can hear footsteps of the enemies easily. Also you can get good sounding headsets cheaper than a sound system(where i live). I have steelseries arctis 1 headset it sounds so good compared to my tv’s speaker but it is uncomfortable. I am not used to wear headsets so i prefer tv speakers. I played The Last of Us Part 2 while wearing my arctis 1’s and it was an incredible experience. Wish i could use them more often.
r/playstation • When you play games. Do you wear a headset? ->If you don't mind me asking - I've had the Arctis 1 and Arctis 3 before and both have really thin ear cushions to the point where they touch my ears and make them hurt after an hour or two because of the friction. Did the Novas do the same to your ears?
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best overall gaming headset in 2025? ->Dunno what headsets you've been using but I'm on my 3rd SteelSeries headset since I've been buying them since 2015. First pair I bought which is the Siberia v2s (iirc) are still working beautifully and I use them with my PS5 when I travel for work. My second pair is an arctis wireless pair, forget the model, but they only got replaced because I was given my current ones as a Christmas present. Zero issues ever.
r/pcmasterrace • Another „Gaming Headset“ bites the dust, tired of overpriced/hyped headphones. ->Yeah Idk my steel series lasts for like 8 hours and it comes with two batteries so I always have one ready to go on the dock... Voice sounds great. It's like anything else, some things are shit some aren't.
r/buildapc • best gaming headset in 2025 under $200 ->I will have to dispute this one, sorry. While stealseries headphones are super comfy. I find the audio range is quite lacking. Just extra bass added to everything
r/ArcRaiders • Headphones Raccomendation for the best Arc Raiders experience ->I had a blackshark and loved it until the hinges disintegrated on me. I currently have the steelseries and it's... Okay? Noise canceling is useless on it. Software is ass. Other than that it's pretty good. The hot swappable batteries is neat. If I could go back I'd probably get the Audeze Maxwell. However they're heavy and a little unwieldy (I tried my friends on).
r/buildapc • The Best Gaming Headset to Buy Now? ->Don't get studio headphones. They are for listening to and producing music, but they don't sound "good" they sound "accurate". What's the difference? Mostly how much your ears can take before they fatigue. Modern causal headphones have comfort and "listenable" as a key tuning concept. They are designed to be worn for hours and hours on end enjoyably. Onto recommendations, for music and gaming with a great microphone too? There's one simple suggestion; The Steelseries Arctic range. They are incredibly comfortable, sound great, have an excellent mic and come in a range of price points and features. Plus on many of them the mic slides away so they don't look so goodfy. Personal recommendation.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • What are the best headphones that can be plugged directly into a PC for listening to music and gaming? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
