I have the original Arctis 7s from 2018, not sure how their quality is now but maybe worth checking them out. They have a steel frame and easily replaceable ear cups which I only replaced once recently. I haven’t exactly been nice to them, they’ve fallen off my desk plenty of times and I chuck them to the side when I’m done using my pc. My mute button is just now starting to have issues with not actually staying depressed after I press it in.

i dont own iems but i dont have a problem with the soundstage, its super easy to locate the enemy even in vertical aspect. At first i wasnt even aware how much of a difference they make over some ss arctis in that matter. Isolation obviously is bad because they are open backs, at first it was weird that i heard background noise like my pc running, my keyboard clicks but i get used to it after few days. I always heard them at some level with closed backs so it was just matter of getting used to. When any sound is playing in your headphones its not an issue at all in my opinion. Personaly these headphones are my endgame. I play at quite high level and they are better compared to my other headphones like Superlux hd681, Beyerdynamics DT990 Pro or Arctis 7.

I can't speak to current quality, but I'm rocking a Steelseries Arctis 7 from 2017ish. I replaced the battery and ear cushions myself last year and was just remarking on how all of the materials are in literal perfect condition. I would have expected the fabric strap to degrade in some way but there isn't the first sign of wear despite daily use for years. That being said, I've started having connection issues recently where once a week or so it just loses connection randomly. I'm hoping it is due to an update that can be fixed.

The old Arctiz 7's with the micro USB charging are probably the better option. The new USB c ones force you to use their software, which is a steaming pile of shite. To elaborate, old uses hardware to switch between audio channels, new forces you to use the software.

I’m using my Nova 5’s on my second playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 and they are great! I got them for around $130 and apparently the mic is rated better than the top end SS headsets. I played around with the eq preset and got right one for me I can literally hear everything not to mention the battery is 🔥 I’ve had these for a month and charged them once. Before these I had Arctis 7 from 2019 so they lasted me a long time would’ve kept them if the age didn’t start showing.

I switched from the hyper x cloud 3 to the artic 7 gen 2 and I love them. They are great for story games and as someone who works from home and wears them all day they are comfy. I can also have them connect to my laptop and my work laptop at the same time and it can play audio from both sources at the same time.

Steelseries arctis earbuds are good, got the over ear ones for xbox they are really good quility and good sound as well, stay away from the sony pulse earbuds, awkward to git into your ears and uncomfortable as f**k and volume is piss poor for my old ears

I've purchased 3 headsets specifically to play Hunt and here's my thoughts #1 Title Beach Atlas Elite Best sound quality I've used, hands down. There's no fine tuning since it's an older headset but it's never needed it. This version is wired and the wire has some issues so I'd go for the wireless Aero version if available. Build quality is flawed in one area and plastic will crack after about 12-16 months of daily use. #2 Razer Kiara Decent headset with a snappy double door wireless connection. It can be linked to with an app and it's adjustable. I use it for casual gaming because I couldn't get used to footstep sound distance no matter what I adjusted. #3 Arctic Silver 7 Just don't. Especially for the price. The sound is very small and tin-like. It's adjustable but bad bass rumble completes with the tin footsteps and it's impossible to hear any distinct sounds. They're also uncomfortable for too small ear cup size . Note: I was just looking at the TB Stealth 700 Gen 3 to replace my current TB in using. Since it has bigger drivers and just as comfortable fit I think it'll be the best headset.
