Most of these comments are correct about wireless gaming headsets not being BifL! I've owned most of the big brands over the last two decades, and here are my thoughts: (as an Xbox gamer) The old Astro A50's sounded great and the build quality was top notch. I would not recommend them however, because they are just too finicky. Constantly had wireless interference, they would lose connection to the Xbox at least every other day, and the charging dock would frequently lose connection. Which would lead to me having to use a charge cable defeating the purpose of having wireless headphones. I eventually gave them away bc I couldn't stand the constant battle to get them to work. I've had multiple Turtle beach headsets which I gave up on bc they were both expensive and cheaply made. I had two of their top of the line sets (I forget which ones as this was during the Xbox one era) that both broke where the head rest meets the ear cup. I never liked the sound or feel of HyperX or Logitech and have therefore never purchased and can't give a review. I fell in love with Steelseries with my first purchase of the Arctis 9 wireless. They didn't sound quite as good as the A50's, but they worked flawlessly all the time and still sounded great. I eventually blew a speaker after 3 years of use (definitely my fault) and took the opportunity to upgrade to the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, which I love! They are easily my favorite ever headset and as someone who has an irrational hatred for cables, I love the dual/swappable batteries. They also sound incredible. I've considered buying the $600 Elite versions, but it's hard to talk myself into when my current set still works flawlessly. Hopefully you find this useful.

Can verify that Arctis headsets are awesome. Partner has had the 9 for ages and it works like new. I have the Nova 5 for two years and I love it.

Buy an Arctis 9,expensove but I've only had to change the ear cups in 5-6 years.

I can wear my Steel series arctis 9 indefinitely because they are never uncomfortable. They never get hot either as they have fabric breathable earcups.  I also have momentum 4 wireless which are almost as comfortable but not quite. But they are on sale at the moment.  If you wait until 11/11 you can probably find great deals on whatever you end up wanting

I really like my Arctis 9 headset. It appears they aren't available anymore - I imagine the Nova Pro would be a great choice.

I have the wireless Steelseries Arctis for games and music and such, but get much more mileage out of [these](https://www.amazon.com/NUBWO-HW02-Cancelling-Comfortable-Computer/dp/B0DM7J2CVV); the sound quality isn't completely awful, works on PC/laptop/phone and cheap enough if travel becomes necessary I won't cry if they get lost/broken/stolen. Yah, they're wired, but I prefer the lack of fuss and worrying about running out of charge for wireless, etc.

Dunno what headsets you've been using but I'm on my 3rd SteelSeries headset since I've been buying them since 2015. First pair I bought which is the Siberia v2s (iirc) are still working beautifully and I use them with my PS5 when I travel for work. My second pair is an arctis wireless pair, forget the model, but they only got replaced because I was given my current ones as a Christmas present. Zero issues ever.

I love my steel series arctis, the extra battery it comes with on the wireless version to dock in the amp thingy is awesome and truly makes a fully wireless experience. Plus when they get to end of their life you can replace the batteries too

Yeah Idk my steel series lasts for like 8 hours and it comes with two batteries so I always have one ready to go on the dock... Voice sounds great. It's like anything else, some things are shit some aren't.
