I had the Arctis 9x for a while and really liked it. Switched to the Audeze Penrose and the difference was night and day. Heard the newer Audeze Maxwell is better but canāt justify the price for how much I play
Get the official Xbox Wireless Headset. The mic isn't the best, but everything else is great. I've had mine since they were released and still use them every day.
I've had a Steelseries 9X which had a better mic but the build quality was a lot worse. The area around the plastic shell around the ear cups is going to break eventually no matter what you do. It's a design flaw.
I can wear my Steel series arctis 9 indefinitely because they are never uncomfortable. They never get hot either as they have fabric breathable earcups.Ā
I also have momentum 4 wireless which are almost as comfortable but not quite. But they are on sale at the moment.Ā
If you wait until 11/11 you can probably find great deals on whatever you end up wantingĀ
