Steelseries arctis nova 1 wired. Slight quality control issues. Buy from Amazon or best buy good return/refund policy elsewise excellent
I just bought an Arctis Nova 1. Good budget headset. Right now I am trying to figure out the best settings for hearing footsteps. Stereo feels like it's not quite as percise as it should be, and the fake 7.1 Windows Sonic setting seems to help with things to the left and right, but then you cant hear a god damn thing in front of your face. Like I suddenly dont make reload noise or hear any narration.
I really like the Steelseries Arctis Nova 1 set. It's 45 bucks on Amazon right now. [https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Arctis-Multi-System-Gaming-Headset/dp/B0B8Q4CR52](https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Arctis-Multi-System-Gaming-Headset/dp/B0B8Q4CR52)
love how there's comments saying there's no good headphone list but their best headphone is an audiophile one from sennheiser that costs ten thousand bucks (that one guy recommending a Sennheiser HE-1 that costs 50k lol, 75k in europe). realistically speaking, this list has good choices for everyday use, personally tho, id take the [nova 1X](https://dk5cnflyn7mcb.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO2307) over the normal one. the sound quality and mic is better than the normal 1 variant and price difference is small.
I'm going to try the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1 and see if those work. I've been using the Xbox Wireless Headphones for the past few years and they're on their last leg. The fake leather earmuffs are always awful on purpose, so you buy the replacement pads
I have been using the steelseries arctis nova 1 headset and they work great. good mic, good sound and very comfy. also has 360 degree sound so good for fps games
Ha. I bought the wired steelseries arctic nova 1’s. £30. Plug into the controller. They do for me. Had years of premium headphones Steelseries and Astro’s. Today I don’t really see the point with all the 3d simulated sound stuff.
hey guys, i've been looking for a wireless gaming headset. I was using the arctis nova 1 before but the cable has been kind of bothering me, so I decided to upgrade to wireless. I am stuck in between arctis nova 5 and the hs80 rgb wireless. Any suggestions or comments if you used these headphones?
Hello, I got the corsair hs80 because of the mic quality and being able to use it while it's charging. (aka making it cabled when its charge is low.) I think it's great, really comfortable. I didn't have any physical issues, just the software of it could give you a hard time but I didn't really mess with it that much. The pre set is already really good in my opinion. At first the sound quality felt weird, I felt overwhelmed in games because of all the detailed footsteps etc but then I quickly got used to it. I finished a few story games with this too and the sounds were all detailed too in my opinion, it's both good in story and fps games. Would recommend, it also has one of the best mics for a wireless gaming headset. The flip on mic is also really comfortable and strong. One problem is the battery life, make sure to close the rgb on the side if you get it. Though I usually just charge it over night, if it finishes while you're using it you can use the cable like I said it charges while plugged into your device.
