I have an Arctis Nova 5X and works perfectly on Linux. I paid around 200EUR.
Steelseries. My partner and I both love our Steelseries headsets and other Steelseries peripherals. They're Danish I believe. The mic is retractable, not removable. My partner uses his headset for work as well as gaming, and they both come in black and white. They're both wireless. Both of our headsets have removable, replaceable, changeable ear pads and elastic headbands. The elastic headband prevents excessive pressure on any singular part of your scalp, and I'm pretty sure you can wash them. I just sewed little sleeves for mine, so fresh vibrant hair dye won't stain it. Bonus: if you're a tiny person with a small head and neck problems, the Arctis Nova 5 is pretty lightweight for a wireless headset, while maintaining good audio quality.
Can verify that Arctis headsets are awesome. Partner has had the 9 for ages and it works like new. I have the Nova 5 for two years and I love it.
The steelseries arctis nova 5p is a excellent headset sound quality is fantastic when sst up with custom preset.
I absolutely love my steel series. I think there the Arctis Nova 5 wireless🤘 i was astonished by how good the sound quality is. I can hear foot steps in games where that matters
Hifiman Edition XS - It’s been a long journey since the HyperX Cloud 2, then the Arctis Nova 5, followed by the Meze 99 Classics (which I love for music or single-player games — and the comfort is unbeatable), and even the Fiio FT1, to finally end up with the HIFIMAN Edition XS. For BF6, footsteps, spatialization, and accuracy, it’s amazing. All it’s missing is a 3D-printed strap for extra comfort.
I have steelseries nova arctis 5x and are amazing! I recommend getting the Dolby atmos as well.
I recently bought the Arctis Nova Steelseries 5P and they work brilliant. If you get them on eBay, you will pay half of the retail price (around £60-£70). They are dual WiFi and Bluetooth, so you can be playing (wifi) and switch quickly to a call on the phone or listen to music by simply pressing a button (Bluetooth). The headset has microphone, they are wireless and support the 3D surround for car games and shooting games. The battery lasts above 50 hours (tested). They are also very light and they don’t bother after long gaming sessions.
whatever you do, avoid steelseries at all costs. I had a pair that lasted 2 years. I got new ones that need a full reset every couple months. When i heard from my friend that their hyperx headphones last over 5 years without issues i was shocked that it was even possible.
I've got it, indeed comfortable and long battery life. Once in a while it doesn't connect though, works after plugging receiver in again. No idea what's causing it.
SS Nova 5 or Logitech G535 would be my picks. Both are wireless, budget options from decent brands. Both are very light weight and comfortable. The SS has ear cups that are a bit on the smaller side, so if you have Dumbo ears might want to go with the Logitech.
