Yeah Idk my steel series lasts for like 8 hours and it comes with two batteries so I always have one ready to go on the dock... Voice sounds great. It's like anything else, some things are shit some aren't.
r/buildapc • best gaming headset in 2025 under $200 ->I will have to dispute this one, sorry. While stealseries headphones are super comfy. I find the audio range is quite lacking. Just extra bass added to everything
r/ArcRaiders • Headphones Raccomendation for the best Arc Raiders experience ->I had a blackshark and loved it until the hinges disintegrated on me. I currently have the steelseries and it's... Okay? Noise canceling is useless on it. Software is ass. Other than that it's pretty good. The hot swappable batteries is neat. If I could go back I'd probably get the Audeze Maxwell. However they're heavy and a little unwieldy (I tried my friends on).
r/buildapc • The Best Gaming Headset to Buy Now? ->Don't get studio headphones. They are for listening to and producing music, but they don't sound "good" they sound "accurate". What's the difference? Mostly how much your ears can take before they fatigue. Modern causal headphones have comfort and "listenable" as a key tuning concept. They are designed to be worn for hours and hours on end enjoyably. Onto recommendations, for music and gaming with a great microphone too? There's one simple suggestion; The Steelseries Arctic range. They are incredibly comfortable, sound great, have an excellent mic and come in a range of price points and features. Plus on many of them the mic slides away so they don't look so goodfy. Personal recommendation.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • What are the best headphones that can be plugged directly into a PC for listening to music and gaming? ->Dunno what headsets you've been using but I'm on my 3rd SteelSeries headset since I've been buying them since 2015. First pair I bought which is the Siberia v2s (iirc) are still working beautifully and I use them with my PS5 when I travel for work. My second pair is an arctis wireless pair, forget the model, but they only got replaced because I was given my current ones as a Christmas present. Zero issues ever.
r/pcmasterrace • Another „Gaming Headset“ bites the dust, tired of overpriced/hyped headphones. ->Fuckin arctis nova elite steelseries
r/LegionGo • What headphones are you guys using? Preferably wireless. Legion go S. ->Steel Series Arctis Novas are always a solid choice. The band on the headset makes it the most comfortable over others.
r/GirlGamers • Good Gaming Headsets to Buy ->Well as I mentioned they are all better build quality like 3s wireless. Nova Elite performed best of all but I couldn’t not justify price £600 as my wired headphones sounded better than wireless. I wanted wireless solution (thats why my journey started) but I stay with audiophiles headphones for gaming for now. Fractal scape nice elegant ones, but Nova elite better sound slightly and a lot of playing around with them with sonar software. Audeze Maxwell are also excellent but I cant go over WEIGHT so that is no go for me. I cant comment on HDB 633 as I never used them.
r/HeadphoneAdvice • A quality headset (for gaming) that is not "gaming" crap ->For competitive FPS the Nova Elite is a solid choice for its imaging
r/HeadphoneAdvice • Best overall gaming headset in 2025? ->Audeze Maxwell's 100%. You have to physically try them every day for at least a week to adjust to fit (they were comfy and not fatiguing for me personally), but if you want sound that is on another league of its own in that price range (handles EQ's like a champ), then its a no brainer IMHO. I've tried them all, went down the spending rabbit hole to find "the one" pair that gives me that "wow" factor and fits my use case the best and I always end up going right back to the Maxwells after all the comparisons! Products tested: A50X, Arctis Nova Pro / Elite, HD 490 Pro, DT 880 Pro, several IEMs (recently tried the Kiwi Ears Astral and found them too bright for me), HyperX Cloud III, etc. etc. Get the PS5 version ($30 cheaper; USD) or wait for a sale. Audeze main website had a B stock sale for amazing discounts but they're selling out fast. Just grabbed a pair of Maxwell's for $199, so be on the lookout! Worst case scenario, the sound quality doesn't outweigh its flaws for your taste and you go back to square one after returning them.
