Sorry, I was thinking of the 37x, but it looks like it's out of stock. It was like $100. Sorry. You could look for the Super lux HD668B headphones and a ModMic. Both should be around $50, so about $100 total, but I'm not sure what they go for in your market. But the ModMic is detachable, so you could use the headphones separately.
Razer Blackshark V2 for $27 on AliExpress and EQ. There's not much of proper headphones below $100. Used HD 280 Pro, SuperLux HD668b (bad for gaming).
Have a pair of HD668B. The build quality is not great (the way they made the cable detachable is something else) but they sound very decently for their price (got them for like 20€), and with a pair of aftermarket earpads they make a solid daily driver.
Out of these, I've tried the Sony and both superlux hd668(b) and 681. The superlux hd668b sound-wise is the clear winner for me. Good detail, excellent for the price, clear yet impactful bass and just a really pleasant sound signature overall. The are a little fragile though ime, with the cable failing twice on mine after ~1-2y. My third set has been holding on for longer, but that's probably because I have used them a lot less after upgrading
Huh, turns out the 7506s cost quite a bit more than I expected. Maybe we have a cheaper cousin that looks similar. I'll have to go check The 668b in terms of sound quality really do punch above their price class as well though. They're 30 € shipped where I live, You'll probably have to baby the 3.5mm connector on the left earcup if you want them to last. they look like absolute ass on pretty much anyone wearing them. They feel cheap (because they are, tbf). But they sound quite nice and are decently comfortable after you've widened them over some books for a few days.
Samson and superlux are kinda Like junior / mini akg k702. Good soundstage, decent frequency response but don't have that clarity k702 Has. But anyways they do sound pretty much like a k702 but k702 just does everything much more/better. I was suprised they are that good for its money. I can also recommend shp 9500 which are also kinda Like mini akg k702 but they sound like its somewhere on the middle od the road from Samson and superlux to k702. Clarity / detail ( NOT frequency response! ) of shp 9500 i would say its on same or similar level to sony's 1000xm series headphones.
Koss or used HD558 are so good for the price. Samson and Superlux headphones can sound surprisingly good though. Also I can't get rid of the modern retro because every now and then i just really want to listen to exactly that bass sound lol.
> They’re priced high, but they’re actually worth it. Worth having more than 1 set. Switching between my Beyerdynamic, AudioTechnica, (old) AKG and some surprisingly good open-back Superlux keeps it fresh for me. Like, if I play Europa Universalis and I want to hear the seagulls better (weird Norwegian kink) I just put on the Superlux. If I want less fatigue/strain for, say, grinding out a new league on Path of Exile, I use the Beyerdynamics. If I want to blast Eurobeat while playing Rocket League I don the AudioTechnicas. And the old AKG HSC171s (of which I have two) come out when I want to really bring out the music and voiceovers in a short (emphasis on short, because they're HEAVY) session of a more artful singleplayer game. The latter are practically undrivable without a good headphone amplifier though, they're broadcast equipment afterall
