I have the 2nd Gen Stealth 700s and they have constant echo issues and don't connect to the app whatsoever to fix. As well as I have to plug them into my laptop once a month to "restore" them. They also go on weekly shut offs where I can't use them for a week, this is when I have to "restore" them. Turtle Beach refuses to fix this issue, horrible customer support.

Depends which player I am using to play the disk. If I am using my Panasonic UB820, then my Bose QuietComfort headphones. If I am using my Xbox Series X, then my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 headphones.

OP, I have the Turtle Beach Stealth 700s, and I love them. I really like that they connect simultaneously to my Xbox and my phone, so I can easily talk through the boom mic either to my teammates or if somebody calls me. My only complaint is that they come with a second dongle for a computer and the software (Turtle Beach app) will not allow me to update without having the second dongle connected. I don't game on a computer, so hooking it up to somewhere just to update it is very inconvenient.

I like my black shark pros. Turtle beach is the one that broke on me. I had the stealth gen 700. Those are basically the cheapest headset though. You can't buy the cheapest and expect quality.

I play some competitive FPS games e.g CS2, Valorant, R6 siege and Overwatch on PC. I have tried messing with the equalisers and different presets but I feel gaslighted with the way I miss simple audio queues. Is anyone else experiencing similar? Or am I losing my touch as I grow older and play less frequently. I used to be quite proud of my recognition of audio cues when I used my old stealth 700 gen 2’s, but I upgraded about a year or so ago and admittedly haven’t been gaming as much. My question is, is this common with others or am I losing my touch and needing to pay more attention to audio? Is there any settings other than my equaliser I can change to help me? Other than this I love the headset very much, comfortable, long battery, base station is SO convenient.

I experienced the same, Bluetooth crapped out. It would connect to the Xbox for a moment then keep disconnecting. On two different Xbox’s. I was lucky tho, I returned it on the last day of my insurance. I just happened to go look in my best buy insurance and seen and grabbed the headset out the drawer 😂.

I’ve had the Xbox headset (first pic) but it was lacking in features after coming from the turtle beach 700 gen 2. My gen 2 kept cracking in the same spot, so it was a weak link. My friend also experienced the same crack. It was just such a good headset, I would just buy insurance. So as I was doing a claim, turtle beach sent me the Stealth 700 Gen 3 instead, since they know of the gen 2 problem, and it’s been love ever since!! I don’t see myself ever switching from it. It’s comfortable, long battery life, feels super premium, they went to metal instead of plastic. I wear them the same way and I have no issue. Once you get used to the buttons and wheels, it’s smooth sailing. Only complaint, the dongle will sometimes need to be taken out and reconnected but I don’t mind reaching over and doing that. And it’s not often. I switch between my Xbox and my PC every day. I haven’t had an issue since they sent it to me over 6 months ago.

I guess depends on the game. I got pulse 3d, cloud 3, turtle beach 2 gen, Arctis nova 5. Sound wise Arctis nova 5 is better than these. Comfort + sound cloud 3 wireless.

100%. I had them in the cart today and was honestly about to check out then I thought I should compare them to my current headphones feature set and see if there's anything I would miss. It turns out my turtle beach stealth gen2 from a few years back, has simultaneous bluetooth which I use ALOT. Ended up going with the asus delta rog delta 2s on sale for 150 for the upgrade. Those also only weigh 320 grams as well. I really wanted these maxwells because i'm a sound nut but i can't justify taking away a feature + the added weight. I feel like these guys fumbled the bag when they could have took over the market. Just wait until you figure out simultaneous bluetooth before you put out the new version 🫤
