I like my TB....I have the Turtle Beach - Stealth Pro Wireless. They are expensive but I love them.
My number one is the Turtle Beach stealth pro. Extremely comfortable even for long sessions, simultaneous Bluetooth (you can take phone calls, listen music, watch YouTube simultaneously with game sound), swappable battery (never run out), extremely good bass and depth of soundscape.
I got the stealth pros and I couldn’t be happier with them
Is it good for hunt showdown ?I have the stealth pro 2 and they are good but they have a lot of bugs looking into kithara. The stealths pros are kinda crazy when it comes to tracking
My last setup was full boom Mic, audio deck, and Sennheiser headphonesm was the audio good? Sure. But it didn't silver my issues. 1) if I can't hear myself through my headset with no latency, I tend to yell. I have only found "gaming headsets" to feature everything I have tried has had a fraction of delay and it sucks. 2) I need active nose cancelling as our computers are in the living room so it's important to be able to drown out the television if my wife is watching it playing there. With these two very specific needs, the turtle Beach stealth pros are excellent. Bought an almost new set in eBay for like $100 a couple years ago. Are they perfect? No, the ANC is decent but at least Active, and the game audio is crisp to me. The hot swap one the batteries is sick, and my friends haven't complained about my mic. If I was playing games competitively or FPS where sounds us absolutely critical, I might have a different opinion. But I like my stealth pros. Get what works for you, that's all that matters.
The Razer/Logitech software struggle is so real. 😅 It’s why I stopped using them. Honestly, the only 'gaming' headset I haven't wanted to throw at a wall lately is the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro. The mobile app actually works and doesn't require a constant PC connection to keep your EQ profiles. Great list though OP, audiophile gear is definitely the endgame!
Personally I’ve tried studio‑style cans + a standalone mic and also regular gaming headsets. What I care about most in FPS is spotting footsteps and where shots are coming from. I’ve been on Stealth Pros for a while and I honestly find the soundstage and comfort great for long play, and the mic isn’t bad in comms. Not the absolute best of everything, but they’ve worked really well for me without extra gear!
