I assume you mean over-ear isolating headphones? Obligatory reminder that bluetooth is only useful for drummers in a few occasions, mostly when playing unsynced music to play along to. The latency makes them useless for monitoring. If you've looked at the Vic Firth bluetooth isolating headphones already and find them too expensive, I would advise you to consider them once again. 75 bucks is not a lot of money for any headphone and I think other headphones will easily lack either sound quality or isolation if they are cutting cost. Plus the VFs offer a cabled connection too which can be very useful and versatile. Have you considered IEMs as well? Also consider that you can get a wired-to-bluetooth adapter where you can connect any wired headphones and send the signal over bluetooth. Perhaps not so much cost saving, but a) you can turn any wired headphones into bluetooth, and b) when the headphones fail you only have to replace the (cheap) headphone part and not the bluetooth part as well.

I got the Bluetooth version for the last 2 month. For casual drumming learning songs and having fun. Those are great to have. They are a bit uncomfortable when used for long hours but it's good to take a short break here and there. It's not too expensive it's far from "the best" but it will give you ears protection, good sound, and great fun!

The Vic Firth ones would be better. They’re ear defenders with built in speakers, rather than just headphones. So they do offer some decent protection, especially for the price point.

Alesis makes some high isolation cans I haven’t tried. There’s the Vic Firth ones that are ok. And Sennheiser HD280 are fairly isolated.

I primarily use my Vic Firth cans but also have a pair of Sennheiser hd280pro. the Sennheisers sound a little better and more comfortable for longer periods of time, but the Vic Firths have better isolation.

The Vic firth headphones are very solid for drumming I’ve used them for 5+ years now and I don’t plan on switching anytime soon!
