I got a Nebula Mars 3 Air and have been really pleased. The Nebula family is all portable and Mars models were a good middle ground for what I needed. We're using it for outdoor movies in our yard or camping. Plenty of lumens for after dark and a great quality picture for the price. A lot of those aren't full HD (1080p) so check the specs to make sure you know what you're buying.
r/projectors • Bought Vankyo projector from Walmart . Lesson learnt ->Mad Max is one of the first movies I also saw with my projector (Mars 3)
r/projectors • 2 Weeks with the Hisense C1 ->I love it. On eco mode it can get around 5hrs. On standard mode about 2.5 hours. Speakers are great. I bring mine with me whenever I go to friends or family houses and we have random popup screenings of whatever, whenever, wherever. It's great.
r/projectors • Outdoor projector recommendation? ->That's awesome. I also use the mars 3 for outdoor movies. The battery built in is a huge game changer. Unfortunately this one doesn't have one built-in.
r/projectors • Nebula X1 announcement ->Seenebula.com makes a 4k Laser SE with Dolby vision but this requires external power. If you want portable they make the mars 3 which is 1080p with a 200wh battery built in that can get you up to 5.5 hours if playing off USB at a reasonable volume in eco mode 300ish lumens. Then there's full brightness at 1000 lumens around 2.5 hours. I have the original laser4k without Dolby vision, the mars 3 and the capsule air.
r/projectors • Best mini projector with highest resolution? ->My mars 3 air is probably my most used nebula due to the large capacity battery. I have the astro, air, laser4k (O.G.) and the X1
r/projectors • Testing out a Nebula Mars 3 Air, I wasn’t expecting it to go this hard. (Room was tidied and furniture rearranged after this photo was taken) ->They have projectors that have Android TV or Google TV built in. They are called lifestyle projectors. You will need to have the ability to control the amount of the light in the room. A screen can cost a significant percentage of the cost of a good projector. Some brands that are popular with higher lumens levels. Seenebula.com, xgimi. Keep in mind a higher lumens projector from a reputable brand is going to cost more than a TV. Don't be shocked. I have experience with both xgimi and Nebula projectors. I sold my xgimi to buy another nebula. I currently have the nebula Astro, capsule air, Mars 3, laser4k and a BenQ th575 (no built in OS). Forgot to add that you should not be fooled by projectors on various marketplaces that offer unreal lumens ratings for dirt cheap. Expect to spend $1,500+ for a decent lumens lifestyle projector and probably close to the same for a screen.
r/projectors • Projector to replace TV? ->Not pitch black but quite dim yeah, it doesn’t perform too well during the day
r/projectors • Testing out a Nebula Mars 3 Air, I wasn’t expecting it to go this hard. (Room was tidied and furniture rearranged after this photo was taken) ->Sorry, it outperforms my expectations
r/projectors • Testing out a Nebula Mars 3 Air, I wasn’t expecting it to go this hard. (Room was tidied and furniture rearranged after this photo was taken) ->I own all the nebula portable projectors and here's some thoughts.. If you want to go over 100" outside then you need more lumens than what the capsule or mars air is going to give you. The capsule laser 3 in my readings made 444 Lumens, outpatient what it's rated for but it's still pretty dim in all but ideal conditions.. and going to 200" is just not going to happen. The regular Mars 3 (not air) got 1064 Lumens in my testing and would work great for this case. Also, it has a huge 185wh battery. Either one I still hook to a battery bank so I can run full brightness for longer. Remember the capsule 3 goes down to lile 150 lumens on battery eco mode. I think your case screams Mars 3
r/budgetprojectors • Best battery-powered portable projector under $1000 ->Looks sweet! We do outdoor movies with the Mars 3 right now and would LOVE laser and brighter. Pre-ordering asap!
r/projectors • Nebula X1 announcement ->Elite Yardmaster screens offer a number of solutions in various sizes which will work quite well and may be able to be left outdoors depending on where you set it up. The Nebula Mars 3 is a battery powered unit that is actually designed to withstand some moisture and is worth a look for sure... [https://youtu.be/jmmGQOSAReI?si=TUjyxqjVmCzLRmAg](https://youtu.be/jmmGQOSAReI?si=TUjyxqjVmCzLRmAg) The other way to go would be to pickup a lifestyle model like the Nexigo Trivision Ultra. That's a larger model overall, but a good deal brighter which is nice to have, but not a massive requirement after dark. It may give you ten or fifteen minutes of extra use time to add a couple thousand lumens to your projector. r/projectors • Looking for a good portable projector setup for backyard, any suggestions? ->I have the Mars 3 Air and I take it camping, I really like it but I do with it was 4K. 4K projectors are just too expensive.
r/Switch • Switch 2 looks amazing in 4K ->I use a anker nebula projector. Was like 450. Very pleased although most of the time I just end up using my tv since it’s only a bit smaller and my wife prefers it
r/projectors • Just looking for a projector that won’t ruin my bank account ->Love my Anker nebulas
r/projectors • Small form factor projector suggestion ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
