r/projectorsPSA for anyone thinking of buying a $100 Chinese projector off Amazon…

I’ve had a $200 mini “Apeman” DLP projector since 2019.  Thing is tiny.  I’m in the Army and have used it in the field for all sorts of things.  It’s not bright, but looks great at night.  Even my nicer $2K projector struggles with too many lights on. It looks just like the one that Kodiak now sells, but black and silver instead of their white and gold.  I recently bought the Kodiak and like the bluetooth and casting features so it’s worth the upgrade, but point is these little projectors rock. Don’t get the LCD/LED ones with the big lens.  They suck.  DLP is the way to go.  I’ve heard some people see green/red artifacts with them, but I’ve never personally met someone who complained.
