The [Dangbei DBOX02](https://x.com/SLDealsHQ/status/1969537978956468397) offers impressive features in a sleek design. With 2450 ISO lumens brightness and ALPD laser technology, it delivers vibrant visuals even in well-lit rooms. The projector supports HDR10+ and 10-bit color depth, ensuring rich and accurate colors. Whether you're setting up a home theater or gaming station, the DBOX02 provides a cinematic experience with its advanced features and user-friendly setup. I'm very happy with this purchase .

I had/have the Benq w1070. It really is a great projector, I recently wanted to upgrade and first bought the Dangbei Mars pro, and honestly I didn't like the colors and everything. I think 4K is overrated. Then I bought the Hisense C1S (in my country it appears as Vidda C1S) so I thought it was worth the upgrade. But it's not like it's twice as good as the image.

I had a Danbei Mars Pro (The first one) and I currently have a Dangbei F7 Pro (Dangbei MP1 Max chinese version). As the other commenter says, which one are you looking at? The F7 Pro/MP1 Max is very bright, brighter than the Mars Pro. And the software has come a very long way. Auto focus, auto keystone works flawlessly on the new models, unlike the Mars Pro I had. New ones use Google TV OS as well. The F7 Pro I have, because its the Chinese variant, uses Dangbei OS but its very smooth when I play anything off a USB. For general use, I use a firestick though since the F7 Pro is all in chinese lol and I wanted to save $2k

Dangbei mars pro 2. I have it. Think it's on sale for 1200 from 1800 and it's beautiful. Very bright though. Also a little bit of lag for gaming so you have to adjust but it's the best one I've owned

For the price, it's beautiful. I figured you can save money. I myself was looking to spend around 2800 for projectors when I got this. The only upgrade I would find is the ultra short throw that you put directly under the wall you want them projected on. Take your time and research too don't just take my word for it. Only thing I wished worked better is the 3d ( haven't found a way to make it worth and the slight lag) if you're going to play cod or mlb the show look for one with less lag, picture quality will go down though

The question I have when reading this post is certainly which exact Dangbei Projector you're interested in. And where and how do you want to use it? And what is the room setup, how bright is it? Every projector has strong and week points. And this differs between models and not just with the manufacturer. I currently own and use a Dangbei Mars Pro as a living room projector. It works fine so far. It's bright enough for my room setup with little ambient light, the window is just to the north, but at the same time the projector is better, when I put my blinds down during the day. But I wouldn't recommend it, if tge room is brighter than my living room. It does not have a usable Smart Home OS, so the usage of a Fire TV Stick or similar is mandatory. The OS has some annoying bugs, but they are not really severe, just frustrating and annoying. Like automatic Keystone correction activating by itself or the projector rebooting after turning on occasionally, before the remote works etc. To say the least, it depends on your usage and your budget.

Yes it does. And it is way too far away for such a small screen. You'll loose a ton of resolution and quality. These type of projectors don't have optical zoom. I'm not even sure if you can shrink the image by that much. I'm currently looking myself at an equivalent to 4.7m projection distance and a 84" screen size (1.86m wide). Which means you'll need an optical zoom about 2.5 which is huge and very difficult to get. Keystone for my Dangbei Mars Pro which I currently have is at it's limit. I've got the smallest possible picture in settings. I hate that I have the space for my 120" Screen, but unfortunately it's not able to hang from the ceiling in my new flat. Same reason, the projector can also not hang from the ceiling. Floor rising screens are significantly more expensive and I have limited space for Floor rising... At a 50-70" this calculation will be even worse. I really doubt you can get the image this small by my own experiences.

Reviews are bought. If you look around here there’s a giant stream of people asking why their happrun or magicube or other $100 projector has a burn mark or is stuck in boot up. They are all crap til you get up to the basic dangbei xgimi or Anker projector and those at 300-400 arent very bright but at least might last a little while
