I second this, I got a used Epson TW6100 for Β£240 and it's brighter and has more contrast than some "cheap"-ish portable projector (Dangbei Atom) that I demo-ed which cost three times what I paid for the Epson.
Yes, this is better, but a little bit over your budget: Epson EH-TW6150. I have it and I like it. ππ
EPSON EH-TW6250 is solid (smart) choice and EH-TW6150 if you dont need smart things right away. (There is slot inside for smartstick, if you need one later) Don't buy Chinese projector. ππ
Epson eh-tw6150 is a solid choice for that budget. Eco-mode is quite silent and normal mode is still bearable. It is also bright enough in eco-mode and generally very usable during daytime, with some natural light coming from windows. I use it next to me on a table and game a lot with it, so I can tell you that latency is very good for gaming. (Yes, even on shooters). It is faux 4k, but picture is still very sharp and lamp modules are quite cheap compared to many other brands. P.S. If lamp based projector concerns you, Epson has a new line-up of laser projectors and their model: Epson Lifestudio Pop EF-62B could be good choice for you, even though little bit over budget.
I have Epson EH-TW6150 and It's awesome. Projectors are magicalβΊοΈ
Epson is good and reliable brand and pixel shift is a great technology to get "almost" 4k. Epson bulbs are also priced nicely (at least at the moment) compared to other brands. I have Epson eh-tw6150 and performance for movies and games is very good. You can put dongle inside of it or connect it to laptop/phone (Samsung Dex or alt mode) if you want "smart" projector features.
Hi op, so for a basement space Iβd recommend the Epson EH-TW units, other brands such as BenQ and Viewsonic would be great options as well. XGIMI has the Horizon Pro 4K. BenQ W1070, W1070+, HT2150ST, HT2050A, HT3050, and etc. Optoma HD141X-146X
Yep on a high end Epson 4K HDR LCD projector at 120 inches Looks so damn good.
