I have been using [this](https://www.amazon.com/Epson-EpiqVision-Widescreen-Brightness-Entertainment/dp/B0BDQ84L6Z?crid=3P3JIPBVF2E1M&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.1L4buvg518sm36SOkALsRkmlu8kxPBkacBKlYprAoSiKEMH9Do1LK5e6MFCX3rHI7dJtZH-k6ttW7wVDGvARk_V56qdlpcd5nr_26OB-odYH7tQvMtLRigknS0_0fqUt_O9OtqFjmQ3An5ruwBpyVQfOlyufccN1jOeM6GXNFZ5H-7TX1IMjXdwJKwX72APlQyyQ3wPHTrGhkOfsVxfmLo2ExTznSes5U4MQNAq8FRA.K8e3pAV5qwbV7LpEO-wlOkjRND80PdBqlrxTU9f3PBQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=Epson+CO-FH01&qid=1751014691&sprefix=%2Caps%2C602&sr=8-2&linkCode=ll1&tag=grok43-20&linkId=c33b6329467de3097646320917448fc9&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) from epson for a while and its great, should fit your usecase
What screen size are you hoping to get? 10' isn't very far, and a 100" diagonal should be your minimum target size expectation. LEARN TO USE THIS TOOL, what the definitions are... [https://www.projectorcentral.com/Epson-EpiqVision\_Flex\_CO-W01-projection-calculator-pro.htm](https://www.projectorcentral.com/Epson-EpiqVision_Flex_CO-W01-projection-calculator-pro.htm) The CO-W01 has no zoom at all on it. Projectors that often advertise 50% zoom are just using digital correction, not optical zoom. Projector Central also has a 'find a projector' feature, where you can put in a size and distance so you can narrow down to a more accurate selection... For example, 10' to a 92" diagonal... It shows up as refurbs on credible websites for about 400 bucks. It's what I'd get if I were you.
For 8k mexican get a Flex CO-W01, 3000 lumens, hdmi, 720, very good picture, the only downside is, its disposable after the lamp life ends.
A good suggestion I would say will be [this](https://www.reddit.com/user/Icy_Current9623/comments/1qjxyx7/epson_epiqvision_widescreen/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) from epson. The 3LCD image is easy on the eyes for long sessions. With 3,000 lumens, it's bright enough to use with some room lights on, and its simple HDMI setup and decent build quality make it a good choice.
