Thank you for saying this. I think this is why most people buy cheap projectors. It's not for the professional home cinema setup. I bought my happrun J7 pro for my kid coz we don't want to put a tv on our main living room, and this projector is capable enough for our needs. I was also suprised by the picture quality of these cheap projectors and I've tried 6 other projectors (sobvoi s61 pro, sobvoi e30max, happrun H11, lisowod L03pro, yaber v9, and kogata). The J7 pro is the best in terms of overall function that works for our needs. The use case of every "pro" user here definitely doesn’t speak for everyone and I wish it wasn't the default vibe of this sub. To everyone who wants to try out a cheap projector...go ahead, don't let the "pro's" here convince you to buy an epson right off the bat. Know what you need first (can't darken a room enough? Do you need a google TV OS? Do you just need a straight dumb projector? Do you want auto keystone and focus? Etc) and find that projector that satisfies your need. Buy 2 cheap projectors (from a store with good return policies) and give them a try to see if it satisfies your needs. Upgrade later on if you feel the need to do so.

Yup, pretty happy with with my happrun J7 pro. Watched Die Hard on christmas eve and almost used it everyday for my toddler's disney movies since I bought it. Pair it up with some bluetooth bookshelf speakers and the downstairs living room converts into a movie room without putting a big ass tv over the fireplace.

I tried the Magcubic before getting the Haprun for a bit cheaper on Amazon. Brighter, better skin tones, and just overall better Pic quality. Extremely surprised for the price.

I went with the happrunn 1080 P for 90 bucks. I’ve been so happy thus far.

I have a complete clear picture, but I don’t use the whole projector screen. I’ll leave about 3 inches of each side.
