Hisense - Vidda C5 Boundless Master (C5 Master)

I am getting the C5 Boundless Master (one of the first 100 produced ones) around christmas. I ordered begining of november in the presale. They began production on the 20th. of november (delayed 4 weeks, probably because they had to produce all visionmaster max´s for the backers before and ship them out i assume)... The whole valerion product line are 100% OEM products of Hisense/Vidda and produced in their shenzen factory in china. I think this projector is a killer and much better then the valerion max (and that with much better equipped hardware and a lot cheaper- with chinese version at least). I expect the US/Euro Version is more in the 4500-5000 Dollars/euro price level when it comes out around (mabe) possibly next year summer/autumn- Valerion Visionmaster max price level...If a Valerion Visionmaster Ultra is coming by the end of next year it is probably based on this model (i read some rumors in the net). That is in a very high probability in my opinion because the max was based on the (two generations backwards) C2 Ultra Hisense projector from their in May 2024 released C2 Series...The Valerion Pro 2 for which i backed (got it in january 2025- sold it one month later) was produced since november 2024. That was a nearly (inside the projector) C2 Ultra identical hardware base and the Max ist based on the pro2 (only lensshift horizontal and statical iris on top)...

If you take it exactly, it is two generations. Mid 2025 there was the c3 Ultra (still with the old 0,47 inch dlp chip like the one in the valerions and C2 Series)...And the c5 master has the brandnew sst dlp chip with 5 times better native contrast and much better dynamic contrast, over double the brightness and it has horizontal lensshift and a new iris system and a extremeley wide spreading zoom ...

The Valerion Max has without iris and ebl around 1600:1 contrast (with the old non SST Dlp Chip) and the Hisense  Vidda C5 Master 8000:1...It was said from a reviewer on youtube the C5 Master is comparable (native contrast wise without laserdimming and iris) with the sony xw7000 and this projector has 9000-18.000:1native contrast without iris and laserdimming. The dynamic contrast is 50.000:1 (valerion specs/claims) with the max and 5.000.000:1 with the C5 Master (Hisense specs/claims)... So why should Hisense (the OEM producer of Valerion) should more exxagerate than Valerion? Hisense always made honest contrast claims and statements with the C1/C2/C3 series projectors (around 1600-1800:1) and they did not exaggerate...

L9q is not a normal distance projector, it is a USt. It is a completlry different construction of projector with very simple optics when you compare it to c5 master so you can not compare them. And it is not the same SST chip. We will wait and see. It is sureley better then the valerion max, because two generations newer. And TI/hisense wrote it is not only much  better in brighness capabillity with much less cooling expense at the same time, it is also much better in contrast (the new sst dlp chip). And as i said,  Hisense never exagerrated with the contrast claims until now with C1/C2/C3 generations...I am sure that this new 2026er generation is a killer of a projector and even much better (from the videos on youtoube,) then the xgimi titan/t10 and in one class with sony xw7000 and that is gigantig good for a 3000 dollars projector...

The dangbei is not usable for me, because of the lack of bidirectionel lensshift. I have a problematic room for installation (roof studio) and therefore i need the possibillities of the c5 master. Would i not need this lensshift in both directions, maybe i would take the dangbei too because it about 900 dollars cheaper. It is sureley a top projector, too🙂But it bothers me not to much, i bought a new projector after 13 Years JVC DLA X35 now😅

Look up the Vidda C5 Master. Just got my hand on one. It makes the Valerion MAX look like an overpriced junk l.
