HY310 can be grabbed for sub 40 quid from Ali and has some decent upgrades on these. Auto focus/keystone etc. and greater brightness. Theres a table somewhere with the 300/300 PRO/310 on Ali

r/projectors • What’s the best of these crappy -$200 Amazon special projectors for our bedroom? ->I got something called a Magicubic Mini and it’s been great so far. I finally finished watching the Alien TV series on it this week. Granted the speaker in it isn’t great but I use headphones 80% of the time. It’s also not hugely bright unless you’re in a dark room, but again I am 90% of the time. It’s not going to replace my Epson downstairs in my home theatre but for watching shows in bed it’s amazing.

Get one like this that has keystone/corner pinning incase you need to adjust the geometry; the throw distance is pretty short so I could even put it on my bedside table and correct in software if I needed to.
