Magcubic - L018 Projector

So I actually just bought the Magcubic L018 off Aliexpress for about £55 last week. Really surprised at how good it's been for the money. You'll definitely get a better experience with a second hand projector and you will be better off plugging in a streaming stick rather than using the built-in software but as a cheap projector that will be moved from room to room, I've been very happy. The same projector on Amazon was nearly 2x the price.

So the machine has an HDMI port and a USB A so you could run a fire stick that would be far better than any built in, still be portable and would fall under your budget.

My first projector is the Magcubic L018 and I'm really impressed by it. It has good picture, the fan is a bit noisy in full brightness but okay in mid brightness. For a first projector you won't need more and it's cheap. Don't believe these people who only buy these for thousands of dollars. You first projector doesn't need to be expensive.

Hi. This one is definitely not the best one. But it is super cheap and responsive, convenient. I’m pleasantly surprised with the Magcubic L018. For its price it has a lot to offer: Autofocus, reasonable brightness, proper focus across the entire frame without vignetting, no skipped frames, reasonable keystone. It’s not bad at all! I’ve also owned an Xgimi Mogo Pro 2 and the Magcubic’s image quality is not even that far behind. Also owned a proper Epson and that’s a different story of course.

I’ve bought a Magcubic L018 since and that one is miles better.

I have in my house the magicubic l018. Could I have a picture of the two together to get an idea of the size difference? It is placed in a very tight spot, so I would like to know how different they are.

I’ve had my unbranded magcubic l018 for awhile now and it’s been pretty good to me. It was pretty good for sports, the occasional movie, but it was best for anime. I bought mine for $52 and that’s a 100 inch screen in that pic. It actually looks best at like 70 to 80 inch screens tho. The only reason I stopped using it is because I just bought a nebula cosmos 4k SE last week.
